Wakey Wakey
Wakey Wakey
We encountered a rain-related issue that prevented shooting the exterior video we'd planned on, so (with the limited number of people we had) we needed a backup.
So, thanks to MadMadamMimm for this week's script!
I think it turned out really well, hopefully you do too.

Re: Wakey Wakey
Haha, I love what you did with Tim's part. I totally expected him to tell Paul that he wasn't going to die in five minutes for some reason, the cake instead was great!

Re: Wakey Wakey
I was going to say...since when have we had a cast member named that?
Will edit when video finishes loading.
Edit:
Ok, holy crap. I posted this 23 minutes ago...and just NOW it finished loading so I could watch it. I hate YouTube.
Awesome video as usual. The double twist at the ending was well played, though, not going to lie, Paul's death was by far the biggest LOL of the video. Well done M^3.
Also, was that a new logo I saw at the end? O.o

Damn you Quantum Physics! Awesome vid, thanks for the update, and that "keep calm and carry on" screen is super-cool! I will steal it momentarily I think for an avatar or something.
Also, just curious but why wasn't this available in HD?

Unfortunately she went to bed about 25 minutes before it went up. Irony is astounding.

Re: Wakey Wakey
Great video, and of course, Paul is dead, again.
Also, was the cake ice cream cake? Because really, that's the most important thing.
I'm excited LRR gets to be LRR and get paid for it!

Paul does what he does best!
I thought it was pretty awesome. Though, the chicken bit seemed kind of odd.

Re: Wakey Wakey
I was feeling a bit miffed that the awesomeness of DoWII Last Stand had kept me up until 2:30am, on a day when I needed to get an early night, and then I saw this video, and suddenly it all seemed worthwhile.
Really good video this week: I liked the twist in the script away from the rather obvious twist that Paul outlined, and the joke about daylight saving was utterly brilliant. Big round of applause to MadMadamMimm from me: a really good script.
Also, the public service announcement on the end was a really good idea: here's hoping that the Escapist partnership will bring many benefits to Loadingreadyrun as a whole (and that the forums remain as brilliant as they currently are!)

Oh, that was quite well done for a rainy day backup. Jer was my favorite, but Kathleen's expressions were really good, even in comparison to Paul's great delivery of the poker line. Another one for the favorites list; thanks guys!

heh. This was pretty funny. The jokes were a bit obvious though.

Oh and you can just call me Dave.

It takes longer for youtube to convert HD video into its flash format, so it makes the SD version available first, then adds the HD version an hour or so later when it's finished. As of now, the HD version is available.

Re: Wakey Wakey
The Kathleen happy face right before Paul told her the truth was priceless.
Overall, I really enjoyed the video, you all seemed really natural in the roles. Graham as that one guy who is already opening the wine and brings up the will combined with his stunned look after loosing his memory card was great.

Re: Wakey Wakey
Fantastic Video, guys. Very funny, and it's nice to see an outside writer.
(Might I make a gripe?)
I find it jarring when you use names that aren't yours. I identify you as Paul and Graham. When you refer to eachother as "Craig" or "Jerry", I have a momentary disconnect from the comedy, just long enough for me to register "Oh, Graham is named Rob right now."

The Paul as Douche thing...it's always so fun. Paul always strikes me as such a genuinely nice guy that anytime he plays a douchey character it's like looking into the mirror universe.
Much love!

See? Now, I was the bigger person, and I refused to use that gag. Way to bring me down man, way to bring me down.

Re: Wakey Wakey
Pretty good video.
This video reminds me of a couple previous LRR videos. It reminds me of Schrödinger Fridge as it also contains a joke involving Schrödinger's cat. Schrödinger is a fun name to say. The other video this reminded me of was one of the One Minute Shorts where Paul playing some one in hospital is told that he has only one minute to live. Admittedly these are both Season Two videos.
