I saw a few stragglers tagging our boys in the gaming thread, sir! Wasn't sure if that had been cleared yet, sir!

As an aside I find the thread to be full of win

I'm worried it's not over. If it does indeed have ties to Desert Bus approaching, the worst may be yet to come...

You've just answered your own question; with DBFH and the attention drawn to its hosts, there's consequently a big increase in legitimate traffic to LRR and its forums.

The catch is, spambots decide where to 'advertise' based on traffic - if "loadingreadyrun.com/forum/..." gets higher and higher on Google search lists and the like, it attracts more bots.

Something that just occurred to me - a large spike in spambot activity on a particular site would ALSO increase the site's 'standing', thus having the potential to create a 'feedback loop'. :(

Good point, I hadn't thought of it like that. It's still annoying that it had to happen today, but logically it does make since. :(

They're getting worse. And with the majority of the crew tied up... I dunno. I say we flee forever. :(
