Lock Out

Postby Paul » 14 Dec 2007, 10:54

In case it is not immediately obvious, the Child's Play Charity Dinner and all those attending and associated with it are, collectively, the coolest kids in school.

Big thanks, of course, to Jerry Holkins (Tycho from PA) and WIL WHEATON!

OMG THAT WAS FANTASTIC!!!! *Goes off to light up a smoke* I loved ninja Jer. I loved Paul's fat ass. I loved card flicking Graham. And I loved Wil Wheaton.

Also, a preemptive STFU to anyone thinking about complaining about the ads.

Wow. Now, you just need to get them in the podcast...

No, but seriously, great video. Loved "Some people just don't understand." and "Worf!"

I enjoyed the matching hair, and the running around on BC Ferries, although there was a sad lack of the children's play area. (do they still have slides and igloos?)

Wow guys I'm impressed, and now slightly less confused by Morgan's Facebook status.

This one was awesome! Card-flicking Tycho FTW.

I thought the first part of the video was a little slow. The action really picked up during the last half, which was good.

Wil Wheaton and Jerry Holkins = best sports ever.

Oh my god! As soon as Graham said Wil Wheaton I thought, there's no way and then there he was. You guys are so awesome. Can't wait for the podcast next week to hear how you got those guys into the vid.

As a note, yes, these ads are a bit more annoying.

HOWEVER, by clicking the arrows at the bottom right corner...

SURPRISE!!!!

It skips to the video. So to repeat Cake, STFU, n00b!

Why have I not bothered to tell you all of my pleasure upon seeing each and every video. Not even the Desert Bus got me to actually register to the forums, but Wil Wheaton. Strike up yet another LRR fan. That was guerrilla filmmaking at its best.

Pre-emptive STFUing? An idea so bold in its design and so rude in its implementation, it might actually work! ( I'm sorry guys. )

I'd like to hear the story behind Graham getting Tycho to wrestle him to the wall. That must have been interesting.

Wil Wheaton for guest desertbus driver!

That was fab but Paul - you want to be careful packing on those pounds.

And you all look lush in suits.

And AND Kathleen I really liked your necklace.

Huh. I thought that would be a link to the ad's product site. I wish the purpose of the button had been clearer.

(edit) I would also like to note that even the slight increase in James' weight that everyone was going on about has utterly reversed itself. Looking good, James!

I don't know. It was kinda lacking in the "war paint" and "hidden base" department. However, I'd give an A+ in the "fighting the system" category for the Tycho ambush and B in "improvised weapons" with the card keys. Al-Qaeda, take notes.

Anyways... Graham sorta looked like Grissom again (when he was holding that stack of papers). Also, is it just me or is there something wrong with the lighting? Because I totally couldn't make out Paul's butt ( ) amidst the darkness.
