Very, very funny. And yay for Graham's old man voice.

That was awesome! I especially liked the bit about dropping acid and riding a giant chicken. Funny by itself, but it sounded like Paul almost lost his composure and started to laugh.
I had the same thought, but I might be equally going crazy, so perhaps we need a third opinion.

See, regardless of the game's overall quality, that opening cutscene literally kept me from being interested back when I put it in my PS2 a year or so ago. A travesty, I'm sure. I'll pick it up again later, I guess.

I thought I'd noticed a change.
I liked 'turn-based' joke. Made me laugh a lot.

Re: Unskippable: Final Fantasy XII
The ending credits seemed to have a black outline around the names. Makes sense.
"...So you're single now?"
"...So you're single now?"
~I'm probably not serious~
Oh and you can just call me Dave.
No need for the whole screen name.

Re: Unskippable: Final Fantasy XII
I had a clear favorite line in this one. That doesn't often happen, but I laughed so hard...
"Nabudis has fallen." "Well pick him up!" "My father?" "We can pick him up too!" Graham just sounds so exasperated.

No no, they're definitely new and fancy. New fonts, and the shot is backed out so you can see more of the screen.
It seemed like you guys really tore into that one. Frankly, I can't think of a better game to do that with than a final fantasy game (except MGS, but really, that's just making fun of itself). Also, I feel like the chocobo music inserted into big battles needs to actually happen in the game.

Are they...bunnies? I think I am okay with that.
My friend once asked me if being attracted to the rabbit-women in FFXII made her a furry. I said yes.

No, you made the right decision the first time around.

I loved Graham's relics joke.

Acid and giant chicken is definitely my favourite quip of the show this week.

This. SO MUCH.
I especially love how Paul was barely able to hold his laughter back at the end too .

I don't usually watch Unskippable all that much, but this was really good. =)
Re: Unskippable: Final Fantasy XII
I'm thinking Unskippable and ENN should have their own forums since they're regular weekly videos. I mean, there's a forum for other videos and those are rare.

Re: Unskippable: Final Fantasy XII
Yeah we talked about that once before, but nobody seemed to be on board. I figured just an Escapist Videos section, or an Off-site Videos Section.
Re: Unskippable: Final Fantasy XII
It'd make more sense to have something to hold the videos.

Re: Unskippable: Final Fantasy XII
Why does FFXII have flying shoe/helmet hybrids instead of proper airships?
Great vid!

Re: Unskippable: Final Fantasy XII
I'm onboard with the dropping acid and riding a giant chicken as my favorite joke. This is definitely my favorite Unskippable now, too.
I'm both surprised and pleased they waited to do a Final Fantasy game. It's kind of shooting fish in a barrel to make fun of the cut scenes for any FF game, but that means you have to be that much better to pull it off on a professional level, so to speak.
If there are Escapist awards for best video on the site each year (The Escappys?), then Unskippable: FF XII has to be an automatic nominee, doesn't it?
