If part 1 wasn't epic enough for all you peeps, well, bugger me sideways with a stiff brush, part 2 is about as overly epic-looking as it can get while not running off, grabbing the nearest sports car, hot female, cuban cigar and machine gun, then driving the whole lot off an exploding ramp made of the bodies of your enemies!!! RAAAAAAAA!!!!!

Although, I still can't say the game makes me reeeaaalllyyy want to play it....

Also, to be fair, the giant orbital space laser is actually (from what the Wikipedia article said) an O'Neill style space station, which is many kilometers long AND several wide. That would have plenty of room for your smaller ships to crash without damaging much.

But still...space Russians, huh?
