Re: Synchronize
I wasn't really convinced by this video at first, but then the ending completely cracked me up.
Also, it was nice to see James trying a new role in the stinger.

Re: Synchronize
The ending--hilarious. If something ever happens to me that I turn to a life of crime, I shall have to remember that this tactic, while quite inconvenient (and probably still pretty dead-giveaway if there's a camera in the room at all), would make for a pretty good mind game.
Then again, if I ever turn to a life of crime, I probably deserve what I get.
Something tells me that Jer's watch doesn't actually exist, but if it does... coolest watch ever. As someone who considers phones and watches to be completely different things, it wouldn't be the same to have the latest phone with all the cool apps. Someone out there somewhere needs to make this watch. I'd buy it.

Re: Synchronize
Yeah, I really liked how I couldn't guess James' role after seeing the credits at all. Totally unexpected, but it seems to fit pretty good. The role, that is.
To be clear: I was expecting shades. At least!
Now I want to buy a watch...

Re: Synchronize
Me, about a minute into the video: "Paul wrote this."
Me, once the credits come up: "Damn straight he did."
And be honest, did the stinger come about just as an excuse to have James play a cop?

Re: Synchronize
Once again, James steals the show on this one. And now I'm feeling nostalgic because Jer's watch reminds me of an 80's Casio calculator watch I owned as a bairn.
I'm struggling to believe the delay on this video was unintentional given the content. That kind of serendipitous irony just doesn't happen in real life.

Ah, so by posting the video four hours late, The Escapist was playing a meta-joke. Well done.

Re: Synchronize
GOLD!
My favourite bits were:
1) ...you didn't even bring a watch, did you?
2) Space Invaders on a watch.
3) Kathleen's rather swift entry into the shot in the detective bit. Very well pulled off, along with Graham's "I have no idea..."
4) a-ha in the stinger.

Quite a prolific use of the balaclavas here, and I'll place good money they had them all looooonnnng before this video.
In all a good video, maybe a little slow in places but then you do have to set a scene I suppose.
And yes, a video involving a heist situation and NOT having Officer James in it would have only given you fan complaints.

Short, sweet and very funny. Love Graham's punchline.

Re: Synchronize
I know there's nothing wrong with short skits, but this one felt a little too short. Or at least a little devoid of content. The content you did have was funny, but it wasn't really enough to carry a whole skit. I was expecting the skit to keep going with the funny after the punchline, but it just stopped, and I felt a little unfulfilled.
The stinger, however, was excellent.

Re: Synchronize
Just watched the video again. Caught weirdly off guard by the stinger; forget how funny it was. Damn.

Re: Synchronize
Interestingly, there was a similar scene in A Shot in the Dark, which also had a Graham Stark in it. Nifty homage or amusing coincidence, both are good.
