Episode 32 - Game for Fashion

Postby Matt » 12 Dec 2011, 13:04

The fashion world is like a rickety construction of wood, stone and glass, rocked by an Angry Bird dress.

While I agree that the Supaboy looks pretty cool and I am the sort of person who might actually buy one, Genesis fans wouldn't really feel left out considering the Nomad exists.

And frankly, since I own a Sega Nomad, why wouldn't I want a Supaboy?

Awww and I was hoping for a picture of the MTG dress! Still loved the drawings though :D

Paul should blatantly have said that the dress was 'In like Bob'

Ah, Valve - you do so enjoy trollin' the gaming community don't you? That's a pretty big slap in the face though but hopefully it's a sign that they may ACTUALLY be getting somewhere with Half Life 3 (yeah, I know - I had to stop for a min to laugh at my own comment too).

Mildly curious about the "Supaboy" though to be fair I'd likely only want it for one game (Illusion of Time).

Also - oh good lord, Angry Bird *dresses*!? Seriously!? I think I might have died a little inside.

Finally ... I think Paulo and Estela (I think that's how you spell them) blatantly deserve to come back at some point in a sketch! :D

I actually think the Angry Bird dress looked really nice.

As for Pualo and Estella, I'd love to see them in more Checkpoints, but I think parodies of "What Not To Wear" and "Project Runway" may be in good taste as well.

I suspect, as Valve as said Portal 2 was their last single player style campaign, that Half Life 3 will be the worlds first T-shirt based game. I mean, TF2 is essentially hat based now anyway.

Oh, no - don't get me wrong, the dress did look cute but really? An angry bird dress? Seriously? T-shirts I can get but a dress .... ?

It took me quite a while to work out how it was an angry birds dress, if someone hadn't told me I would assume it was one of those unhappy coincidences that leads to 'When you see it you'll shit bricks' comments on 4chan.

Hey, my former workmate had something like the Supaboy, but for the Sega Mega Drive... I think it was called Nomad or something like that. It was pretty cool, but ate batteries for breakfast, and he had to replace the screen with an LCD screen, because the original one was awful.
