Loved it! Well worth the wait, so many returning characters I didn't expect to see. Again great job LRR can't wait for the next one!

Nice mix of characters of various sketches, I liked the touch of old to go with the new.
Totally accurate, except for all the times I'm not.

RODRIGEZZZZ
I was so glad to see another rapidfire; great job guys!
And I find it interesting to see how much mechanical improvement sets apart RP2 and RP3. You really made a far way in that.
Please bring back the "shhh" man.

Love it. Shotgun approach ensures that the not-funny sketches get drowned out by the funny ones.

So much win.
Favourite bit for me has to be Cam and Missy as French Mercs though. Fantastic.

Seconded.
I was a bit surprised that Detective Riley wasn't told back that they knew that was the crime scene, the whole thing began when they found the body and the CSIs were combing the scene now. "Outstanding."

We're doing something slightly different with R&R this series, they don't have a straight man.JackSlack wrote:I was a bit surprised that Detective Riley wasn't told back that they knew that was the crime scene, the whole thing began when they found the body and the CSIs were combing the scene now. I really hope Cam/Missie can reprise those roles at some point. I don't think you guys could've picked a funnier pairing to go with Kane and Crowthorne, and they play it so perfectly.

Re: Rapid Fire S3 E1
KANE. AND CROWTHORNE.
YESSS.
(and I thought that French mercenary looked a lot like Missie! Fantastic to see her again!)
Plenty of laugh-out-loud moments here. I like the way Rodriguez and Riley are now riffing off each other (good development, by the way), and I liked the whole host of returning characters from things other than Rapidfire: Gabrielle, the peasant, Bob from Apple. I also remember Missie, Tally and Kathleen playing sorority girls in Sigma Theta Delta, but they seemed to be different characters this time?
And upon watching it again, I remembered a story:
Some years ago, my friend and I used to slack off a bit in Latin class (the difference being that my friend had learned the fine art of somehow slacking off and doing the work simultaneously). And because pugs are awesome, we spent most of our time drawing pugs in hilarious situations. My contribution was largely a pug with one of those dodgy jackets who was selling things which sounded illegal when he offered them to you, but were actually perfectly legal.
I'm so glad LRR sees the humour in that kind of scenario. Please do more with that character.

Wow. Cam makes for an amazing Frenchman.
Please tell me I will get to hear him say the word "coup" some more. It just cracks me up for some reason.

Yesssssssssssss... Oh yeah, that's it baby. Mm-hmm. That's the spot.
Re: Rapid Fire S3 E1
Kathleen's character in Sigma Theta Delta has moved on, and Katleen is playing a different, third "STD" girl (in case you'd missed THAT part of the joke).

I know that they're from Sigma Theta Delta but I like to think that their names are Sydney, Tanya and Delphine

Re: Rapid Fire S3 E1
Ohhhh, RIGHT. Well, great! Even more characters from earlier videos!
Maybe Kathleen's old character had a talk to the college dean or something then, cause I seem to remember the STD girls getting away with some highly questionable fundraisers in the past.
And Beej, you're new around here, so you couldn't have known, but talking to somebody from A9 News is NEVER a good idea. It says something that that's only the second worst thing they've ever done to somebody they've interviewed.

Re: Rapid Fire S3 E1
Just like to add that I watched this three times on the trot (rare feat). So, good job there guys. Looking forward to seeing this series crossing the season boundaries as it's predecessors did.

I have been waiting for this for so long. Cam as a French Merc is weirdly entertaining. And the super unhelpful Archangel.
