A trip to the ATM could turn into something much more sinister.

HOLY SHIT GUYS! BEARS!
Re: Crime Pays
Reminded me of a joke I heard long time ago: in the old days people robbed banks, today banks rob people.

This was an... odd episode. It felt somewhat off. But it was still good. The ATM pulling a gun on the two made me chuckle pretty well.

I like to think that somewhere a bank security officer is reviewing the footage from that machine's camera and getting more and more confused.

I'm fascinated what's up with that footage.
Re: Crime Pays
I enjoyed the sketch! My only 'complaint', such that it is, is that Paul seems to be playing more 'jerk' characters lately, which I find sad (not bad, but I hate jerk-people). The Nerd-off skit, the one with filters, this one. . .

"This isn't Star Trek, dumbass" is something I would say to a friend, and I'm not a jerk. I hope.

Even after being uploaded as a virtual entity existing only on the internet, James is always the cop.

Certainly one of your more "out there" sketches, I think.

Well done, loved it when the atm pulled a gun. Didn't see that coming at all, and James is still the cop even in cyber space.

Great sketch, hilarious Romeo and Juilet feel from the stinger.
Totally accurate, except for all the times I'm not.

Re: Crime Pays
A wild Jer appeared!
Jer used "Be in Video"
It's super effective!
This was an awesome one ^_^
Only question, the video quality at the start (so before any from-machine cams) seemed a bit lower than normal. Did you use a backup camera for some reason?
Mara.

James is still the cop, even in digital form.

"withdrawl"?
Loved the episode. I really love anything written by Paul I guess, they just have a certain... feel to them.

Man, that ATM pulling and chambering the round looked great. How the hell did you guys pull that off?

Re: Crime Pays
Yeah, wow, that was... what?
I laughed at the ATM machine pulling a gun, and Jer and Paul's reaction to it. And of course, the stinger had me in stitches. For the rest of the sketch, though, I was completely bewildered. Just... what is going on?!
Good to see Jer again though! And happy that the Paulsy has deminished!

Maybe it was delivery without context, but Paul's character seemed unnecessarily antagonistic. Probably was just impatience, but to me he seemed to say it as an insult instead of ribbing.

Re: Crime Pays
Great episode. I'm curious: How did you take over that ATM for enough time to film without someone kicking you out of the building?

See, I'd noticed these, but I was beginning to build a hypothesis that this wasn't a 'legit' ATM, but a mock-up someone was using to trick people into depositing cash into. The ACTUAL story was in the same larcenous vein, but even BETTER than I'd expected. (CyberCop James )
