Wrenegade Wrapper

Postby Graham » 11 Oct 2014, 00:47

Inspired by a very true story (a piece of litter in Paul's bathroom that he couldn't account for) comes this direct-download of Paul Brain™:

The Wrenegade Wrapper.

Just wonderful. It had me guessing where it was going for quite a while. You're a treasure, Paul.

I enjoyed the phrase “Perverted Potty Prowler”.

I love this, as it was totally a Paul sketch.

I know I'm easily awed by this sort of thing, but those long wordy takes are seriously impressive... and potentially dangerous if you get to the end and screw up the last few words. Well done all around. As usual, Cam does brilliant reaction shots, and the stinger was a nice but non-obvious gag.

Incidentally, is that Yellowjacket that's marked on the map there? I think? Or possibly the Tim Hortons... or was that further up?

Damn it... guess I'll have to come back to be sure.

No, it is the south east corner of Fort and Douglas. There is a Royal Bank of Canada there.

I was totally expecting Cam's character to finally not get cut off at the end and say "OR...it could just have been a mint I had left over from a dinner party I was at a couple of days ago. It was totally me."

But that was better. :D

...and then the stinger.

I love alliteration. Also I enjoy that the sketch isnt entirely laugh-a-minute humor but more of a set-up. Paul humor is great:-)

Also Kathleen as a Mint-Ninja is hilarious:-)

This was a great sketch, and Paul's character really reminded me of Chustle Paul. Have to say I expected the stinger to be something to the effect of Paul's character wasn't just doing that to get out of cleaning the bathroom, but the way you did it was still great. I'm going to miss these every monday, there a bright spot at the start of the week.

So, we're all in agreement here that Cam and Paul characters in this sketch are the same Cam and Paul from
Third Wheel Dating, right?

This had a really great slow pan and slow zoom.

Well done, camera..ographer... cinematographer?

Graham, then. It just says "Camera" in the credits, so I assume we can blame you.

Anyway, very subtle and well done.
