Three PS3s

Postby Graham » 22 Dec 2006, 12:06

We've been wanting to do this for over a month.

So, as you might have guess, this is not our Christmas special. It's coming, and it will be great!

Thanks to Randy and David for PS3 borrowings.

Man I don't even have cake.

I do have meatloaf though.

Addendum: I was, and always will be, the first post.

Wow, early update! Aaaand first post!

Pauls delivery was awesome. I though it might start to drag but you were wise and kept it short, so it didn't. How many different ways did you come up with for stacking/lining up/making a pyramid of the PS3s!?

Oh but the best part was that on your white board it STILL says "This is dirty. Wash it" from Man Cooking two weeks ago. Dirty slobs!

Edit: Dang... I WAS the first post...

I think i can go out on a limb here and tell you that it has said "this is dirty, wash it" for much longer than 2 weeks

I hear you Kathleen. I think having three Wiis would make me happier than three PS3s.

I do have Battlestar Galactica on rent from Netflix, and cashews, but that's hardly any consolation for my lack of next gen consoles.

The Book of Pwnage, Chapter Two, verses nine to twenty-one
Paul hast three PS3s. No More, No Less. Three is the number of PS3s he doth have, and the number of the PS3s had by he doth be three. He doth not have four PS3s, and he doth not have two PS3s unless thou ist counting two PS3s on the way to three. Five PS3s is right out. Then, once, the number of three PS3s hath been reached, thou shalt turn on all three PS3s at once, and the neighborhood power grid, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it.

On the subject of PS3s, I found this off of digg that made me rofl.

Hilarious eBay description of a PS3
Really, can you imagine how hairy an alpaca burger would be? It's so hairy that it would make Chewbacca go "wow, that's really hairy." It would be so hairy that it would make Sean Connery look like a metrosexual.

I rofled when Paul started rubbing his nipples. Quality!

I don't need your three PS3s. I have Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri to keep me warm at night.

YamaroV2, isn't that more polyamory ftw?

Three comments on the "Three PS3s" thread... Still not as good as three PS3s.

I myself have 3 PS2's. Now I would be as happy as young Paul there, but 2 of them are broken. It's not a good idea to try and fix them when you've got no idea what your doing!

Are you sure "Awesome" is the word you're looking for?..........

The graph was the best part. The video doesn't make me want a ps3, but it does make me want cake.

I must concur. Outrage can only fuel the site's popularity.

It would be better to simply post the video's url at places and see what they say - increase the site's views directly.

So, if I have 4 PS2s and a PS1, then 4*2+1= 9 = 3*3, and I effectively have 3 PS3s?

Now to calculate the value of the Wii, it is necessary to take into account Roman Numerals. I represent 1, and W is not a valid value; however, M is a valid value, and can be converted to a W by flipping it over. Therefore, a W in roman numerals must be worth 1/1000, and therefore the total value of a Wii is 2/1000. Therefore it requires 1500 Wiis to be equal to one PS3, or a mere 4500 Wiis to be equal to Paul's 3 PS3s.

YAY!

I was surprised that the bit didn't get old. It kept getting funnier, like building momentum. Bravo! Very funny!

And it would STILL BE CHEAPER.

Great jorb, Paul! And Graham, too for shooting. I like how the concept of marginal gain is completely ignored here. And the explanation for everything being merely a statement of the initial postulate. Good show.

Now, my four-times superior Wii beckons. I also think the idea of two Wiis is funnier than that of three PS3s. Other than the absurdity of rarity that the latter possesses.

Also, the phrase "Three pee-ess-threes" sounds far funnier than "two wiis" or "four ps3s" or anything else really.
It's the assonance.
