Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen! As you guys have hopefully seen the site has had a minor update to push us to version 5.1. No HUGE changes, a lot of backend stuff that i wouldn’t bore you with even if I had any idea what Paul actually did :P. Onto this weeks video, High Noon. Now it has been said already but we do apologize for the late update with this video but due to certain circumstances (Grahams computer kicking itself in the nuts, a serious lack of RAM in the computer that did wind up editing this video, and the fact that we were out of town all of Saturday) the Friday update was just not in the books. The actual shoot of this video really couldn’t have gone much better. We met up at Graham and Matt’s new place early last week and started shooting around 7:00pm and wraped up around 10:00.  When Paul first brought this script in for us to read a couple weeks ago, the idea of going all green screen was probably at the back of everyones minds, however we are all very pleased with the way it turned out and we hope you are as well. Here are a couple of pictures from the shoot. And i realize I still owe you guys pictures from the trip to Nanaimo from this past weekend but I won’t have the free time till after the meeting tonight. So expect them up between 5:00pm and 11:00pm tonight.

  1. I’d love to know the story behind the 3rd pic! I’m assuming James did something stupid, warranting his *headdesk* and Matt’s laughter in the background. Anyone care to elaborate on what happened?

Oh, and looking forward to the Nanaimo pics as well 🙂

  2. There’s actually several pictrues in a series, which is oddly or order here, of Matt winding up and slapping James HARD on the back, followed by James collapsing.

  3. Mmm that is weird. I didn’t want to include all the pictures from that series but i was pertty sure they were in order. Basically i was doing a little dance for Morgan who was holding my camera taking a series of pictures and Matt wound up and slapped me really fucking hard on the back. It hurt.

  4. Oh, lol. Nice going, Matt!

And hey, at least it made for a funny pic, James.

  5. I don’t know if this is the right place for this, but here you go.
    Matt-
For your challenge at the end of this weeks podcast, you wanted to know how much the actors on, “Corner Gas” and “Royal Canadian Air Farce” recieved as wages. Here is the best I could come up with, although I am sure you have already gotten your answer. Just for the record, I am in the US and love both shows : )

Salary on Corner Gas is between $14,000 and $16,000. According to Eric Peterson.

And for Air Farce, this is as close as I can find, from 2003:

“In fact, Air Farce Productions Inc. generates revenue of several million dollars annually, between $4-million and $8-million, says Mr. Ferguson, not only from the TV and radio programs, but other spin-offs such as CDs, audio tapes and videos. After the company covers expenses such as salaries and rent, Mr. Ferguson is left with take-home pay well into the six figures, he says.”
