lrr streams-02

Hello all!

At our PAX East 2016 panel, we previewed an upcoming revamp to our live streaming schedule. We’re super excited the changes, and we think you will be too!

Before I tell you all about how it’s all going to look, let me tell you about why! We run our channel like a little TV network, with certain shows at certain times, over the course of a week. This works really well for some shows, but for other content, it’s not really the right delivery mechanism. Watching a single streamer complete a game over a course of months, divided into 3-hour, weekly chunks, isn’t the way people most want to consume streaming content. This was backed up by viewership data, and your responses to our survey.

More importantly, it’s not playing to our strengths as entertainers. So we’re mixing it up!

First of all: WHAT SHOWS ARE STICKING AROUND?

lrrmtg checkpoint

Look, we like Magic, lots of you like Magic, so LRRMtG continues on Thursdays. CheckPoint also holds firm in its current Monday time slot. Mostly because, without the streaming aspect, we probably wouldn’t have time to produce the show. And yes, Kathleen WILL return!

nope and play

Alex’s Let’s NOPE! and Watch+Play with Alex and Graham aren’t going anywhere, except away from Friday night (you’ll see why, below). Instead they’re going to slide onto alternating Wednesday afternoons. That’s right, alternating… that means both shows are now every other week!

cts afk

This is exciting. Crossing the Streams (where a bunch of us play video games) and AFK (where a bunch of us play tabletop games), are some our most popular streams. We love doing them, and you love watching them. So now they’re both weekly, so you get to see more of everyone! Tentatively, Crossing the Streams is penciled in for midweek, on Wednesday evenings, and AFK will take over the Friday night slot. AFK will also regularly feature paper Magic.

rythym gamehaus

Okay, as we all know, I love LOVE the joke of Rhythm Tuesday always appearing on different days, but the name is actually super confusing to new viewers, and it’s not immediately funny enough to warrant that. So, to that end, it’s being rebranded as Rhythm Café, and it will continue to air with Ian and Heather, on midday Sundays. Adam’s Gamehaüs carries on midday Saturdays since we’re always filming during those hours anyway… shh, Adam! 😀

And now: WHAT’S NEW??

New LRL Slates- 18 games-01

James and Paul are going to host this experiment in streaming. Every Thursday at 9AM local time, they’re going to make note of whatever game is #18 on Twitch’s browse director… then at 11AM local time, they’re going to play that game. Whatever it may be!

New LRL Slates- new day-01

Tuesday is traditionally the day for new video game releases, so every Tuesday a rotating host or hosts will play whatever newly released game they’re excited about! The show is open-ended, so if everyone’s having a great time, it could go all afternoon.

New LRL Slates- talking sim-01

Games have a lot to say, but they’re not great at doing the talking, so Alex and Cameron are going to bring their unique perspectives on narrative, tone, art direction, and theme to this discussion of games as a medium. Every episode will feature an in-depth look at a specific game, while they play the game to help illustrate their points.

New LRL Slates- matters-01

Our resident Japan… “experts” Beej and Ian are going to fumble their way through an untranslated Japanese game, and discuss Japanese culture and trivia along the way. Matters of Import will alternate Monday evenings with…

New LRL Slates- ttsf-01

Ian is going to lead this hands-on DIY show that is not a “how to”, and more of a “let’s try”. Join Ian and various cohosts, as they attempt new crafting and DIY projects. First on the list: turning the old Moonbase bar fridge into a keg fridge, complete with tap!

New LRL Slates- loadingreadyLIVE-01

The flagship of our new streaming calendar, and also the show we can share the fewest details on, this group-written variety presentation is going to be completely different than other content we’ve tried, and we can’t wait to see if the damn thing even works. Also, it won’t have a name that is the same as our entire stream calendar and that Fringe show we did once, we just couldn’t think of a better working title!

We’re aiming to launch the new calendar with [working title variety stream] on Saturday May 14th… but we’ll see how that goes 😀

  1. I see you are trying even harder to be literally the only content I watch online. The only question I have is, how will I have time to watch all of this?

    Comment by Booster — April 28, 2016 @ 3:34 pm

  2. All right, I’m gonna express unpopular opinion because why not 🙂

I’m excited about Matters of Import, more frequent AFK and the fact that Checkpoint is sticking around. I’m sad to lose a Heather stream, her propensity to play weird and campy games is always a laugh riot.

I am also sad to lose nearly every consistent personality show. I actually really enjoyed watching Kathleen and Heather in particular playing their way through games with story. The suspense and adventure was quite fun for me and I’ll probably wind up watching a few less streams this way. Maybe I’m just sad that there won’t be a return to watching Kathleen slog her way through an entertaining Atlus game or other JRPG, since that was my aboslute favourite by far.

But that’s enough bug bears. I’m excited to see the new shows. I will give all of them a try, at least once.

  3. I’ll miss a few streams that appear to be going away, but I love the focus on bringing multiple people onto each stream. Your interactions while streaming are the best part. Can’t wait!

    Comment by Nathan — April 28, 2016 @ 3:39 pm

  4. Sad to see some shows go. Happier for the shows staying and hugely intrigued by LRL variety show. There isn’t a whole lot of content like that on Twitch so it will be interesting.

    Comment by Ecocd — April 28, 2016 @ 3:45 pm

  5. Excited for all the new shows, though I was hoping for another morning show (which translates to an evening show here in Scandinavia). Watching VODs is alright, but not the same as the live experience.

    Comment by Erik — April 28, 2016 @ 3:56 pm

  6. It seems like the new shows will have a more episodic feel. I get the impression this will reduce on the times where it felt like I needed to watch 3-6 hours of streaming to ‘catch up’ on where someone was in a game.

Most of the new stuff sounds interesting and the stuff that doesn’t pique mine sounds like it should be great for other people. It looks like a great schedule.

That said, with probably many people saddened by the loss of regular gaming streams, any plans from the crew to do twists on the Lets Play formula on the side? We already have Agatha Fisty and James’ Minecraft Thing.

    Comment by DarkAbyssKeeper — April 28, 2016 @ 4:05 pm

  7. Looks like there is a lot of interesting new stuff coming, which is exciting. I am going to miss GPLP, though. It was the reason I first came the channel, after Unskippable ended, and it is sad to see it go. Regardless, thanks for the laughs and look forward to seeing the new content!

    Comment by QisforGlutamine — April 28, 2016 @ 4:05 pm

  8. I’m loving the graphic design style for the new content.

Also excited for the new content!

    Comment by Skilde — April 28, 2016 @ 4:05 pm

  9. I’m excited for a lot of the new content, though I will certainly miss some of the content leaving, most notably A Swiftly Tilting Cameron and Video Games with Video James.

  10. New lineup needs more Adam!

    Comment by Nuurgle — April 28, 2016 @ 4:14 pm

  11. Appreciate the new line up and will definitely check it out as much as I can. Slightly disappointed by the move of W+P and Let’s Nope to during the day on a Wednesday. Both shows felt like a fun end to the week and I know I enjoy a good dose of W+P after a busy week. Just my feelings on it, but I look forward to some of the new content like [working title variety show]

    Comment by Dicey — April 28, 2016 @ 4:24 pm

  12. Maybe I missed it, but there doesn’t appear to be a timeslot listed for Talking Simulator.

Also kinda sad about the move of W+P and Let’s Nope. Same as above comments it felt like a nice way to end the week, but also depending on what is meant by “afternoons” I’ll probably be working during it, so likely missing a lot of it. It was the show I was most likely to tune in for before now.

Still, AFK and Crossing are both things I’m likely to watch as well, and the new stuff sounds interesting too.

    Comment by Scott — April 28, 2016 @ 4:46 pm

  13. I’ll go against the trend and say I love the new timeslot for W+P/Let’s Nope. They’re two of my favourite shows but the current timeslot means I usually miss them.

Sad to see some things disappearing though. GPLP, IDDQDerp, Swiftly Tilting Cameron – I watch them more for the personalities than the games (although it also happens that they’re usually playing a game that interests me), so I’ll miss that.

I look forward to seeing the new shows!

    Comment by Dietcokeboy — April 28, 2016 @ 4:57 pm

  14. Personally, I’m not going to miss too many of the current slate of shows: it seems like many have a close enough analogue. But I really, really hope you’ll reconsider the “cancellation” of GPLP. I enjoy the two riffing on mediocre games and the dynamic they have together. The show, in my opinion, is a step beyond just a LRR member playing some game and was the only stream outside of the “special” shows returning that I made of a point of watching, live or via recording.

Certainly I realize you two are busy, especially now with Graham’s fatherly duties. But I sincerely hope you’ll find time in your schedules to do an at least semi-regular GPLP. A world without either Unskippable or GPLP is a world I’m not quite sure I’m ready to live in.

    Comment by ThatMoGuy — April 28, 2016 @ 5:06 pm

  15. Man. Some of the new shows sound good, but I’m going to miss the standard “tune in to see Graham and Paul playing a bad game” or “I’m lonely, lets hear Cam get frustrated in an erudite and stylish manner” or whatever. The Let’s Plays don’t really do it for me as the constant jumpcuts give me a headache really quickly.

That said, I’m guessing the reason for Graham vanishing is due to parental duties. I hope that House of Stark comes back in a few years when Graham can stream with her around (some of my earliest memories are of my stay at home Dad playing Elite on the C64, or Wolfenstine 3D and Doom on the 386 while I coloured on the office floor.)

That said, I can’t say anything bad about any of the new shows, and I look forward to giving them all a try. Can’t’ say if they will be better, but hey, I like something like 90% of everything you do, so chances are I’ll like most of these.

    Comment by Canageek — April 28, 2016 @ 5:34 pm

  16. While I will probably miss some of the old shows, I’m glad to see that LRL is still keeping up regular appearances of almost all our favourite personalities as the designated hosts for the new shows.

There’s a few new shows in particular that I am very excited for, but for brevity I’ll just say I like the idea of each show keeping on a particular topic or theme.

    Comment by Silenceaux — April 28, 2016 @ 6:14 pm

  17. Like many others, I’m also disappointed that GPLP will end. I’ve watched and enjoyed every single piece of it since Venetica. I think it is at least as popular as CP+ on Twitch, judging by viewership and chat activity. GPLP was also the pioneer of the multi-host format that you seem to going for with many of the new shows.

I don’t see a problem with playing through a game in weekly 3-hour installments, but if that’s an issue, you can easily switch to shorter games that only take a few streams to complete.

I get that Graham has less time now, but with the previous cancellation of House of Stark and now this, my only consolation is more W+P.

Anyway, I’m curious about some of the new shows, will be interested to see which of them will be on at (somewhat) Europe-friendly times in the new schedule.

    Comment by GSC — April 28, 2016 @ 7:35 pm

  18. Do we know when the exact timeslots for this new schedule will be released? Because right now, it’s very uncertain about which shows I’d like to watch I’ll actually be able to see from the descriptions as they stand, just due to work responsibilities.

    Comment by Grescheks — April 28, 2016 @ 9:26 pm

  19. These are some pretty different and interesting ideas. I enjoy almost everything you guys do anyway, so I’m looking forward to checking them out and seeing how they go. However, I will actually miss the more traditional streams with 1 or 2 people playing through an entire game live. LPs with too many cuts and edits just aren’t for me.

I know Graham is especially busy now and he deserves some time off for sure, but I do hate to see GPLP disappear entirely. Unskippable and the old GPLPs were some of the first LRR videos I watched, so I do hope that someday it returns in some form or another.

Definitely excited to see more frequent AFK and Crossing the Streams though, those are always some of the most fun. Plus whatever that last show is going to be.

    Comment by Drayse — April 28, 2016 @ 10:04 pm

  20. That is certainly a different direction.

I will say I’ll miss the personal streams, but that having been said, I’ve always thought the best, most memorable stream of a particular game on LRL has nearly always been the first one. The subsequent streams typically tend to be a bit of a rehash of whatever happened on Day 1, and if you’re not into the game, it can be a bit of a slog.

So it makes sense… but it doesn’t mean it’s not a bit jarring to see ten shows on the schedule all hit the scrap heap together.

That having been noted, the new shows do all look rather tasty. I think we’re going to have to figure out some ground rules on 18 Games and Counting, namely what happens in the event we draw a game that ends up being completely unappealing to all involved and that nobody wants to play anymore. (I would suggest putting the offending game on a banlist and, if it pops up again in #18, invoke “and counting” and look at #19, and then #20, and so on until a game not on the banlist is found.)

  21. I’m extremely excited. This really makes me want to catch more of the content live. Can’t wait to see how all this turns out. Love you people.

  22. This is really cool. I tend to watch Strictly Tilting on YouTube and am 2 years behind, so switching to streams I can actually drop into makes a lot more sense! Looking forward to it.

    Comment by deworde — April 29, 2016 @ 12:05 am

  23. Exciting, I’m always ready for more Watch + Play (whatever that says about me), and all of the new shows sound really cool.

    Comment by Lark Sachrosis — April 29, 2016 @ 1:07 am

  24. I guess the decision makes sense, the streams I often enjoyed the most were the ones that had longer games but I didn’t watch them live almost ever because I wouldn’t be caught up and I mostly just watched replays. At the same time the new schedule does sound super exciting, I just hope there’s still as much Paul, Heather, Ian and Cori content as there was from Things on my Stream, Heather’s Handhelds and i, Horner (liked other shows too but those were probably my favs)

    Comment by 100abrahamlincolns — April 29, 2016 @ 2:26 am

  25. Sad to see IDDQDerp and Swiftly Tilting going away. But I have faith that you guys have a good idea of how to move forward.

    Comment by Drendar Morevo — April 29, 2016 @ 5:19 am

  26. I’m really excited for Talking Simulator as it sounds basically like Correctors Commentary but for video games, which I love!

    Comment by Jessica — April 29, 2016 @ 7:37 am

  27. I’ll miss Heather’s Handhelds and definitely miss the LRRcast, but I believe in you guys. If this is the way you decided to go I’m excited to see what’s there ^_^ Also pretty much all these shows look sweet, so that’s an upside.

    Comment by Nick — April 29, 2016 @ 8:09 am

  28. Sad to lose GPLP as well, but hoping that this means more LRR Content overall. Excited to keep my sub/patreon going!

    Comment by Brock Hevenor — April 29, 2016 @ 9:58 am

  29. Also?

In a recent Beej’s Backlog, Heather and Cori played a long string of random game demos. The two have *spectacular* chemistry any time they share a camera, and the night went brilliantly overall.

I notice ten streams were dropped and six added. If there’s room for another, I’d suggest looking into game demos as a stream concept (and handing Heather and Cori the reins).

    Comment by mtvcdm — April 29, 2016 @ 10:53 am

  30. I’m at least hoping everyone gets a chance to close out their current games, if any, before their shows get retired. We all need to know specifically where IN Hong Kong we can find sailors, dangit!

But yeah, the new shows do sound interesting. Glad to hear you’re experimenting with shuffling things up a bit. Good to do that and not grow stagnant and all. I echo the sentiment of missing GPLP, but circumstances call for it, I suppose.

And, in our hearts, it will always be Rhythm Tuesday, on any day other than Tuesday. 🙂

    Comment by CaptainSpam — April 29, 2016 @ 12:21 pm

  31. “Watching a single streamer complete a game over a course of months, divided into 3-hour, weekly chunks, isn’t the way people most want to consume streaming content.”

Uh, no? That’s kind of exactly why I’m here. Well, other than the fact that LRR is all pretty cool people. I really ~like~ being able to have that kind of continuity from week to week, and it always bugs me when one of you starts a long-form game, and then drops it. I really hope you leave some open slots set aside for the same host playing the same game to completion, even if that host tags out when they finish.

    Comment by ChroniclerC — April 29, 2016 @ 1:28 pm

  32. So This?

    http://i.imgur.com/rV1tKUi.png

Also I feel like the new shows while brilliant in concept and Im sure have a lot of initial enthusiasm leave a lot of room for failure when any lack of enthusiasm creeps in. Building things is fun for a couple projects, but when its “what are we doing for project three, or project four” its all dropping off. On the same vein I suspect Talking simulator will quickly fall to correctors commentary.

Im really excited about AFK and Crossing the streams being more regular the enthusiasm on those shows is awesome. I am also really looking forward to LoadingReadyLive, I have no Idea what to expect there. Hopefully it will be like desert bus only less exhausted.

    Comment by Lord Hosk — April 29, 2016 @ 5:36 pm

  33. While I am liking most of the new things, one thing I REALLY want to come back was GPLP. That show was great.

    Comment by Ladsworld — April 29, 2016 @ 8:16 pm

  34. I’m really excited for a lot of this new content, but I will miss a lot of the long-running shows.

Watching Alex or Cam spend week after week going through the entirety (or most of) of a game they really like and talking about it has always been fantastic, which is why I’m very excited for Talking Simulator.

On the bright side, there’s still a couple episodes of Kathleen Saves the World that I’ve been meaning to get around to, so I’ll probably get to work on that backlog on youtube.

    Comment by D_Man_7733 — April 30, 2016 @ 11:56 pm

  35. I have to echo many of the other comments. While I’m interested in several of the new shows, I really hope you reconsider cancelling GPLP.

Like others I started watching LRR through Unskippable, and GPLP was the next stepping stone. It would be great to see the show stick around, even as an every other week kinda deal, or something similar.

    Comment by ashenna — May 1, 2016 @ 12:05 am

  36. Man I just noticed this thanks to Alex linking it on twitter but I’m glad I caught it.

I would like to add that I’m also bummed by the cancellation of GPLP, as I’ve been enjoying watching you two play video games since the Legaia 2 “Unskippable Let’s Play”. But hey, I guess I’ll always have the YouTube replay channel.

    Comment by SplitDemonIdentity — May 3, 2016 @ 12:40 am

  37. First of all: Kathleen, take all the time you need, your responsibilities have changed. (Also, not a fan of crying on the stream, sorry.)

From an Eurotrash working class perspective, your streams aren’t all that attractive until they hit the LRL Youtube channel, as watching anything past “your” 1pm comes straight out of sleepytime. Wile I enjoy watching them that way (mostly LRRMTG for some weird reason, I don’t even play Magic), it’s only ~75% of the experience and there’s always the nagging feeling that all the streaming takes things (like sketches *cough*) away.

TL;DR: I’m not yet sure if I like your Full Stream Evolution. You’re still great.

    Comment by Laurreth — May 3, 2016 @ 4:00 am

  38. This feels tailor-made to catch my attention. Not to take away from the streams, but so many of these ideas are so intriguing and I want to know more. I’m super excited!

    Comment by kdz — May 3, 2016 @ 4:19 am

  39. Really upset with loosing the current line-up. I love checking out the new stuff you guys try but pitching out the streams I’ve loved for over two years really sucks. I mean I’m still missing House of Stark which was my favorite and now pretty much everything else is going with it while Let’s Nope/Watch n Play get cut to every other week.

I know I’ll enjoy the new content but did you have to completely gut so much in one go.

Also I echo ChroniclerC in that I love watching a game played out episodically over a period of time. Doubly so with GPLP as the games chosen and commentary to go with them were so great.

This to me is the very essence of boo:( ray:)

    Comment by ObiWan Canadian — May 3, 2016 @ 5:25 am

  40. You have no idea how happy I am know that W&P will be a more regular feature going forward. Once a month just wasn’t good enough because the streams are hilarious and there are so many bad games out there.

Stepping up CtS and AFK episodes is also something that should have been a no-brainer. The Chat is packed whenever you do those and it is so much fun to see you all play off each other and the Chat. I for one am looking forward to the new schedule and hope to be a part of the discussion that goes on during the new Cam and Alex stream, Talking Simulator.

    Comment by Exhausted Elox — May 3, 2016 @ 5:32 am

  41. Excited for more regular W+P and AFK, but sad to see GPLP go, as many have said. Unskippable was the first LRR production I ever watched, and I always enjoyed the pre-recorded GPLPs (I’m still sad you never finished Venetica). I realize there are other real-life things going on, but I hope you’ll find the time to bring it back eventually.

    Comment by Under_Score — May 3, 2016 @ 12:31 pm

  42. My one question is will the person streaming New Day Tuesday be required to say “It’s a Tuesday YES IT IS”?

Also I think the idea of centering shows around concepts/themes rather than personalities is a GREAT idea. Kudos to you guys. I think these changes really show how much streaming has matured as a part of your brand. This is a really cool evolution.

    Comment by Climate Changed — May 3, 2016 @ 2:16 pm

  43. I have mixed feelings about the changes and not because some of the new shows don’t seem appealing; not everything is for me, that is how it was, is, and always will be. I’m fine with that, since there was always a lot that I liked, loved even… and that doesn’t seem like it will change.

I am one of the minority that enjoys continuity of streaming the same game all the way through… and while some people regularly bummed me out by playing some at home, that was never the case for GPLP (mostly cause they wouldn’t want to play those games otherwise 🙂 ) and was thus easily my favorite stream as it had everything else already going for it – cohosts that have great chemistry (even or perhaps including the times Graham is focused on the game or chat and plays a husband role of “mhms”, nods and chuckle at the end through Paul’s anecdote without actually hearing him), are funny and run a show that had history, as they were the sole reason I even started paying attention to LRR since I discovered the very first GPLPs on youtube and anxiously awaited new episodes not knowing when they will drop. This was the flagship LRR stream for me.
I still have not found a single other stream anywhere that could beat that, so I’m very bummed about that one going away. I don’t know how much of that “18 games…” will capture, but I’ll certainly be watching. The loss of other streams I liked is a bummer simply because of loss of continuity streams.

As for the new schedule and shows… I’m obviously super excited about more W+P. That was an instant classic and never disappoints. CtS and AFK have mostly been awesome, so, more of that is great news as well.

I have no idea what the variety show has in store, but it seems like something that has the greatest potential. While I have certain possible ideas in my head, I’m not going to wager a guess… I like that you’re keeping it under wraps. It will be an exciting surprise.

While Talking Simulator sounds very appealing to me as we had similar streams before. I just wish Alex would get a cohost that looks at things differently and offers a completely different view. Cam’s eloquence of course makes him an ideal person for such a gig, but I just worry they won’t challenge each other’s views and ideas enough and similarly choose diverse enough games.

The new shows seem to require way more effort (in planing and preparation) on your side, which on one hand is great and I’m sure that you feel that this is what your audience deserves, but also curious on the other, as it will be harder to sustain high quality. I do believe in you guys, so I’m excited to see what you got! But even if I love everything forever… I will never forget what was and secretly hope some of it comes back. 😉

    Comment by Frankenfruity — May 4, 2016 @ 4:47 pm

  44. Excited for the new schedule and programming, but I do wish that W+P/Nope remained on Friday evening since it was, for me, the best way to end a long, hard week. Good to see more rotation in the games now so that Alex/Cam don’t end up raging over several weeks over one game.

    Comment by aussz — May 10, 2016 @ 6:22 pm

  45. Well, I’m extremely excited for… ALL of these shows.
Can’t wait to see what happens with them! 🙂

    Comment by Aegis of Faith — May 11, 2016 @ 3:07 am

  46. So I’ve only just been catching up on this latest news, considering I’ve been fairly busy IRL with Perth Comedy Festival and.. Assorted other real life circumstances and priorities..
Reading through the other comments in this thread, I’ll admit I definitely shared the same sentiment of sadness seeing so many of the regular shows go.
House of Stark, GPLP, Things on my Stream, IDDQDerp, i,Horner, Beej’s Backlog (RIP Beej’s Game Pile of Shame.. You will be missed.) and Heather’s Handhelds were all particularly rad, even though they’re all commonly on at SLEEYTIMES O’CLOCK in Australia (though I very much defy normal Australian timezones anyway..) D:

But as I look over the list of newer shows and such.. I’m actually (tentatively) excited, especially at the prospect of more regular Watch&Play’s and Crossing The Streams! Quite possibly my Top 2 favourite shows, whether I see them live or slightly delayed on a VOD for whatever reason (I’ve personally distanced myself from The Chat these days, for various reasons, so I’m much less involved than I’d probably like to be, unfortunately)..

I do think NewDay Tewsday is a little.. Dull, though. Because literally every other Twitch streamer does that. Plays a new release game the day it releases. I’d *much* rather see the individual crew member’s unique/broad tastes of games and their own style of entertaining/interacting. That’s quite possibly the key reason for why people tune in. Because it’s *unique*. One sole stream of strictly new release games is.. Eh. It’s so overdone, sadly.
Not only that, but the overemphasis of Magic the Gathering these days (in practically all aspects of LRR now..) doesn’t really pique my interest either.. Though in fairness. supposedly the more vocal members of the community/fanbase are MtG players, so it’s probably to be expected.. Just a bit of a shame for those of us who very much aren’t and came to the LRR community and content for more original things.

All that said, I’m still thinking positively. I do truly hope you reconsider, like others have said, not outright cancelling *all* of the regular shows..

Hell, I certainly don’t even expect a consistent run of one game on those regular shows. It’s not exactly the game I’d be there to focus on, it’s the community, the interaction. Like, with NewDay Tewsday, is it only going to be the first few hours of the game and then.. Next newest game? I know games here tend to have staggered releases (commonly Tuesdays/Thursdays, but Nintendo games are often Saturdays).. Oh, and due to time difference, NewDay Tewsday is more.. NewDay WedNewsday. But it doesn’t exactly roll of the tongue as well..

Anyway, it certainly doesn’t hurt to experiment, and that’s what LRR going to Patreon intended to do, so there’s really nothing wrong with this at all! With enough demand though, I’m sure certain other old shows could hang around in some form..

  47. Oh, and 18 Games …and Counting does sound rather interesting.. Though I’m also intrigued as to what makes 18 a special number on Twitch’s browser list..

  48. …I wish there was an Edit button for comments. D:
Last thing, for 18 Games.. I certainly looking forward to when the 18th on the list is Creative, Gaming Talk Shows, or Music.. Or Poker… Also FFXIII is currently in the Top 12. That doesn’t bode well.
