So I've been doing streaming for a year or so under "Metox Streams" Twitch Channel: twitch.tv/metox01 I stream for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours nightly starting at about 7pm PST. Sometimes Friday and Saturday streams are extended and have exceeded 4 hours at times. Content runs the gamut from Mi...

Can someone please tell me what part of my brain is being stimulated in such a way that I find small, cute, rodents being accelerated into immovable objects, so goddamn funny?

Really, really top notch guys, I was piddling my pants with laughter!

I got a screencap with the C key, but I have no idea where the game saves them. Does anyone else know? In Windows XP, the default dir path is My Documents/My Spore Creations/Pictures Also, I discovered, some of your editing sessions are saved as animated gif files. check it out, lots of cool stuff....

How did they behave? I haven't actually gotten to play yet. Sadly, all 3 failed to survive the Creature stage, however, the Pseudoraptor gave me a bit of a difficult time. First time I hit them, they were migrating, and passed near my nest, they attacked me, but I lured them near my nest, and they ...

Anybody encounter anything of mine yet? Yes, I have encountered, Rylestaw, Civerope, and Pseudoraptor. All in the same game. Incidentally, it was the Hard Difficulty game I started just after adding Zed as a buddy. I am still getting content from everyone else, but apparently the game grabs from bu...

My Spore name is either Zed Alpha or ZedAlpha. I can't remember if I have a space in it or not. For the record, it is "ZedAlpha" and I've added you. Also, I really like the idea of Sporecasts, where players add personal content, and content they come across in game. Lots of excellent coll...

Spore Names

I've already posted this question in the Spore thread in General Discussion, but I said to myself, " What better way to ask the LRR crew a question than AskLRR!"

So, What are your Sporepedia names so I may buddy them and bask in LRR content when I play Spore?

Thanks Muchly.

Spore Buddies

Anyway, back to the game. I have added Cybertractor as a buddy, and got to feed off of a Gougs this morning, :) Very cool looking creature, props! Last night I ended up developing an Alliance with the Oglop Empire, lol, in my 2nd space game. OMG, they have an annoying vocalization! So far, I've seen...

Picked up the Galactic Edition this morning

I have to say, I've been waiting for Spore ever since it was shown at the GDC in 2005. I've been keeping tabs on it whenever I can, as I live a mere stone's throw from Emeryville, (Maxis HQ). I've just completed the Cell portion of the game, once, and the amount of decisions to make are simply, Bibl...

This isn't so much an ASKLRR but a TELLLRR

Guys, you have to check out Armadillo Run.
Anyone who is even a little bit of a nerd would love it.
Anyone who has any experience in engineering will lock the door to their room and not emerge until the hunger pains are too much.

While I do not have room to house 8 full grown males, just know that if I did, I would offer without hesitation. I am, however, interested in meeting up with you guys during your layover in San Fran. I suppose when it gets closer to the actual time, details will be ironed out. Like, "meet us at...

Harry Harrison Rocks!

Guys, just listened to this weeks LRRCast, and I was heartened to hear that Paul is Reading 50 in 50. I had read that book when it was first Published in June 2001. I have been a fan of Harrison since High School (84-88), when a fellow Sci-Fi Geek introduced me to the Stainless Steel Rat and Bill th...

I'd have to say that the "will it blend" bit was my favorite. Being somewhat of a Engineering Wonk, I love testing things to destruction, however I usually stop when it comes to things that are alive. Thanks for easing my curiosity on the question of, "Will Paul Blend?" Now for t...

I felt the script would have been even more humorous if the the Small Time crooks had done the "Deal". I think Graham would have made an excellent Cop. Something about his air of respectability. All in all, a good video. I, in fact, failed to notice the sunset the first time around. I was ...

Very nice and professional graphics with this video.
Please make sure you mention the process, and shenanigans that ensued, during the creation of said graphics in the Lrrcast.

P.S. for the Lrrcast, how many of you have ever played City of Heros/Villians?
