Re: The New Relationship Thread
Sorry to just break into this thread with something so random but I need to vent about this. My Fiance and girlfriend of 2 and a half years just broke up with me. I now find myself having to move back in with my parents and reevaluate, well everything. Does anyone have any advice for dealing with a ...

Re: University Advice/Help
Gunner your schedule looks pretty sweet. One thing about first year in a program like yours is that you should have few tutorials/labs first year. This is both good, because you have more free time, and bad because you'll have less structured review/practical lessons. Giving yourself say an hour lon...

Re: Word Mafia DAY ONE STARTS PAGE 3
I loathe the idea of sitting back and waiting for another murder to occur but at this time it seems that that majority of participants are resigned to wait and see what dawn's new light reveals. I feel I must caution the idle participants however that if no one is able to uncover new information dur...

Re: Star Trek Reaction Thread (spoilers up the ass)
I went tonight and there was still about 50 people in the theatre, which is really good for a Monday night at 10:20 here. Especially when they had a previous screening that started at 10:00 that seemed quite full.

This can get difficult if you live outside of the US for some reason.... Usually DvD's are the only way to go.

Re: What do you do while listening to podcasts, LRR or not?
I listen to a lot of podcasts or audiobooks on the bus to and from University as well as when I'm walking around the campus. Lots of times I don't wait that long with the LRR cast though and listen to it the night it comes out while playing WoW or some other game.

Woo life in Saskatchewan!
I always liked it when I watched it. It had a good dry humour and a mix of how some people around here actually act.

Yeah, every 4th ed game I've played in appraise has been rolled into insight. Handle animal and local geography fall under nature, etc. I'll admit it is different, but I also find it is way easier to bring new people into the game than it was before and since you get less skill points the DC's of ma...

I really don't understand the rationality of your post since 4th ed has both intimidate and acrobatics skills. Skill checks are in no way eliminated with everything being left up to the discretion of the DM. Skill checks and skill challenges are just as important as ever. (Also Insight does not cove...
