I should say, you know, I don't play video games, I've never watched an Uwe Boll film, and my only real exposure to Uwe Boll has been through this site and its videos. Oh! I also watched Lowtax get pummeled by Uwe on the Youtube or somesuch (you sure dodged that one Graham). Anywhoodle, I still foun...

Beautiful, and I've never seen Paul more intense.

He has the anger of a wrathful God stored away in those coal black eyes..

Not that more accolades are needed, but I'll throw in mine -

Andy, best performance yet, I think. And writing, and, well, hell, good show all around. Good tension, interplay, etc. etc.

Funniest line though was spoken by Morgan "I'm not going to let that harsh my mellow.."

3 Things: 1) Good use of action. Top to bottom, well done. It's hard to do, but you nailed it this time. And on that note... 2) Matt's really come into his own with this video. Actually he's been pretty awesome in the last few I've seen him in. Go Matt! 3) Hilarious that he "got hired" in ...

FRINGE!

Granted, I haven't been around the forums much lately (or ever, really) so I don't know if this has already been discussed but...

Is LRR doing Fringe again this year? If not, why? If so, when?

My school DID burn down (sort of) but we didn't get out early... we had to go to another school, farther away! Horror of horrors!

The difficulty it seems is that once one has guessed, how do they know they got it right before they post a quote of their own? I suppose either that people should only post a response if they know the answer for sure, or that the poster of the quote also post the name of the video in invisible text...

Drunk answer: you are wrong - you can not prove or disprove materialism. Sober answer: wait until tomorrow. Just woke up answer: It isn't much of a theory then, is it? Why do I not believe in things like invisible pink unicorns (as the phrase goes)? Didn't just wake up answer: I'll read your longer...

You'll excuse my ignorance. What is your definition of materialism? Mine was as broad as possible to include most modern variants of empiricism. Is this not what we were discussing? Also, my point regarding matter, energy and so forth was just to show that unless one is careful with their terminolog...

i'm not the least bit horrified to believe that all we are is meat. i'm a materialist, and quite comfortable with it. I know this is a jerk-ish thing to do but I have not read any of the last 3 1/2 pages of posts. This reply is to Morgan's original statement, quoted above. Sorry for the wait, I had...

i still want to know what is wrong with the materialist position. Yeah, sorry for the delayed reply Morgan. But this message is just to say that my actual reply will be delayed even more. I will make a proper reply, probably in a week or so, after I'm done exams. I'll also comment on this 'Sun goin...

You know that story is quite true... philosophers (and other people too I suppose) have historically been horrified to consider that we may all be nothing but... meat.

But I don't think that's so bad. And I think the film agrees with me. if only it could make meat sounds of its own.

Christ, I hope UVic is closed tomorrow, even though I'm sure it won't be.

You have to understand, it takes me over an hour and a half to get to school. When it's snowing, it takes about three hours. And since it is so close to exams, I'd really hate to miss any classes.

Grumble!
