Re: General LRL Stream Feedback
I am also one who noted this, but I didn't comment when it came up earlier in the week because it seemed like nobody else had issue :P I too am disappointed to see MORE MTG content being released to the apparent detriment of their other content. I am entirely biased on this, but I don't play MTG so ...

Re: LoadingReadyLive Ep19 – Long, Pork
Fu¨t came up in the first episode of LRL in the bit where they were trying to think of a name for the show before settling on LoadingreadyLive.

Re: Tinker, Tailor, Solder, Fry
As if to 100% disprove Kathleen: It is actually remarkably easy to burn your food by being too hot. I was making a mushroom/chicken stew and left to catch a pokemon without turning the braise back down from about 3/4 temperature to get it back up after stirring. 15 minutes later, and now supper is p...

On this subject. . . I am also involved in this Kickstarter, and I will once again state that I am not posting this as a disinterested party. To continue with the Arcanis Setting, and as part of the campaign and universe that moved into the 5e SRD rules with the successful Forged in Magic: Reforged....

Re: LoadingReadyLive Ep18 ??? (A) Let Go
I will agree! Loved every portion of it, though (as I expect of others) the GDC segment wasn't quite what I expected
I mentioned it elsewhere, but if you do X or Christian Metal Bands, I suggest Babylon 5 Episodes.

Re: AFK
I am recommending "Tsuro: The Game of the Path" as an addition to AFK. It is gorgeous, easy to learn, and quick to play. http://a.co/9SrUt02 This game would be great for the streams where there is too little to get another session of the original game in, but too much time left to end the...

Re: LoadingReadyLIVE [the show, not the channel]
I'll admit, the last episode (from Feb 18) didn't quite work for me. Unlike other episodes, this one felt like it was made literally 10 minutes before it was shot, as evidence by the editing and the chaotic planning. Some of the segments were okay, but the Speechjammer segment was utterly terrible, ...

Re: Talking Simulator
Just want to reiterate, I really like the show. However, we were watching Pt. 1 of Life is Strange and I wonder if it is at all possible to have the microphone moved a bit further away from Alex. When he. . . exclaims enthusiastically, it is as if he is inside my head and scrambling my brain. I know...

Re: AFK
I will agree that Crokinole was a good one for AFK as far as I'm concerned. I still prefer games like Nightmare because they make better watching (let's face it, Graham's continued abuse by the Gatekeeper and the Baron were lovely), but that has less to do with the quality of the games than how LRR ...

Another wasted opportunity to give Ian a musical credit. . .

You guys mentioned Diplomacy on your Risk Legacy game, which suggests to me that you guys have played it before, and I SO would like to see you play it. However, I'm not sure that Talking Simulator would be the best venue as 90% of the game is 'behind the scenes'. One day (in your plentitudes of spa...

::LRR plays Civ 6 next week, LRR plays Civ 6 next week::
I would say Cam plays Civ 6, but ideally I'd like to see it be a multiplayer game. That said, Cam plays Civ 6 is the preferred default

While I agree that the quote was funny, Alex's reciting of the Mentat Mantra from David Lynch's Dune actually has nothing to do with Melange. They are referencing Sapho Juice.
That said, the delivery was hilarious!

RE: Exploding Kittens - Even though this game also wasn't the best for AFK (not a bad one, I stress, but not the best) due to the fact that most of the game is on cards that are hard to see, I am very glad you guys played it! Re: G&K In Japan - Day 9: Let Us Showa This Museum
Speaking from Edmonton, Japan looks a lot less expensive than where I am now. The prices cited by Graham and Kathleen seem to be on par or much less than you'd pay here (or Saskatoon, or Winnipeg, or Calgary) for an equivalent product. That said, I'm sure that housing is way more expensive, and eati...

Re: Talking Simulator
While I always enjoy listening to Cam, after watching the first half-ish of the Civ V Talking Simulator I'm not sure that it was a Talking Simulator as very little of the discussion was relevant to the game (vegetarian restaurants, Culture novels, etc). I don't know if it matters in the long run, bu...

Re: LoadingReadyLIVE [the show, not the channel]
1) I liked the powerpoint segment, but the fact that (to me anyway) Beej's was so esoteric and arcane really did not allow him to make any jokes, which really killed the segment (Beej did what he could and I commend him for salvaging comedy out of it!). Would like seeing more of this, however. 2) I ...
