Re: I think I've figured out what Eldritch Moon is about!
They needed a lot of preparation to kill the other titans. They had to pull them into the world completely, but more importantly, Nissa used her bond with Zendikar specifically to gather about a million mana at once. They could not have done it without that factor.

Re: Battle of the Belly Buttons: Are You an Innie or an Outi
I'm a globalist. I firmly believe that the only real future we have in the long run is one where all people in the whole world get to cooperate towards the well-being of all. While the EU has its problems, it's not only a good vehicle for a better world, but also a symbol for overcoming differences ...

Re: So... About that Significant World Event that Happened..
And there we have the drawback of democracy. People are stupid. I'm really wondering if the British government will actually go through with this. It's such a bad idea. I mean, I'm sure the EU won't hurt too much because of it, but I really worry for the British economy right now. Also, with a possi...

Alright... I happened upon this video and it got my mind active. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPCp2E92qUs So, my predicions for how the series will end! (or at least continue) The war of the roses has parallels for The Mad King, Robert, Joffrey and Tommen. In history, Tommen (Edward VI), ...

They've consistently referred to Emrakul as a her throughout the story. She's definitely female.

To be fair, Modern is getting older and there;s more and more card availability issues. This kind of thing was bound to crop up more and more these days.

Also, the story reads fine as a "Jace solces a mystery" instead of "the player solves a mystery"

To be fair, I also kind of enjoyed the speculation. It's just kind of a letdown to see a mystery get solved by the easiest solution of them all.

I'm going with people changing into Eldrazi. (idea courtesy of Rednightmare by the way)

Re: I think I've figured out what Eldritch Moon is about!
Booster: Exactly what I was thinking. And on the Emrakul thing... There's actually a secret puzzle in the set. You see... there are actually six different printings of Tamiyo's Journal. They have different entry numbers on them referring to the flavor text on the clue tokens. When applied to the fla...

Re: On the lore of the Mending and Eldrazi
Yeah. Ugin said the Eldrazi were like hands in a pond. His thought is that when you cut off the hand, the man might get angry and attack that which has cut off his hand. It's wntirely possible the full Eldrazi have powers that could just destroy part of the multiverse when they want. Ugin thought im...

I think I've figured out what Eldritch Moon is about!
Hey all, it didn't seem to fit anywhere else so I thought I'd post it in a new topic. So, what is Eldritch Moon really about? Nahiri's been building the new prison for Emrakul! Think about it. She's building a new moon (probably made to resemble the Helvault), there's Cryptoliths everywhere that fun...

Re: Limits on freedom of speech
I think that protecting people from things like racism and other kinds of discrimination is essential to a well functioning society. You want to protect people from hate and calls to action against other people, then it's neccessary to limit the free speech of people. Technically, even openly planni...

I feel like they might ban the Eldrazi lands soon. Those lands are reasonable if you only get to use them on cards of CMC 7 or more. If you get to make Eldrazi Mimic cheaper... that's just not okay.

Re: The Big Relationship Thread
First of all, you can be attracted to any number of people, you're not hurting anyone by that. Lying to yourself about whom you are or aren't attracted to won't help anyone. Being attracted to people doesn't just magically stop. I'm in a stable relationship for 2,5 years and I regularly find myself ...

Is she trying to get him to her side against Tyrion? That is entirely correct. Cercei's goal is to make sure that Tyrion is executed. As such she's trying to become closer and more sympathetic to the three judges (Tywin, Oberron, and Margaery's father) to make sure they side wit...

This one was really well made. Felt a bit slow near the end, I think it could've been a bit shorter. Nevertheless, brilliant as always.
