Re: TTC - Theros Impressions

I made a "medical" themed deck for someone in a Reddit exchange recently. It was almost entirely just medics and healers. It was terrible, but also hilarious to play as the entirety of every game basically amounted to the other person attacking and me preventing all damage. Somehow I manag...

I think new tiers wouldn't raise much more money at this point. [....] (I'm still operating on my belief that there aren't many more new backers to be had. Any money now will come from convincing existing backers to up their pledge.) These two things aren't mutually exclusive. How many people have ...

Re: The Loading Ready Run Kickstarter

As a Kickstarter reward tier I though one that might work well would be custom built Magic decks. It'd be similar to Kathleen's Hot Jamz, but jut consists of 60 (or 100?) Magic cards. You give a theme/style and they put a deck together. I mean, I'm pretty sure the crew have so many cards they're fal...

Re: Custom Tokens

So, I've started getting the idea to commission artists to make some custom tokens for my decks. Any recommendations? And this is a common practice, right? I've linked to it before, but here are some tokens I had artists at a comicon draw for me. I printed off a bunch of blank tokens on cardstock a...

For some of those old cards that have weird counter things you clearly need the counters that came with the Armada comics. +1/+2 counter? Done!

Re: TTC - GP Portland

"How did this get IN my deck!?" I was trying to think up some insane combo to prevent a "fail to find" scenario happening. And while this wouldn't work in real life, maybe in Friday Nights. Also, there are probably better (and possibly real) ways to do this. So first you'd need ...

I just went through the last few sets and made a bunch of blanks for different token creatures, then I let the artists choose whatever they wanted to draw.
