Re: Mustache You a Question

I was watching this and just after Paul said, "Great Moonbase Firewall" shockwave crashed and the video stopped. The timing could not have been more perfect.
(Of course I immediately reloaded it and enjoyed the rest of the video).

Re: Bros Clubbing Bros

I'm sorry, it's not just me, is it? Was the background music a commodore version of Sophie Ellis-Baxtor's "If This Ain't Love?" I guess it sounds kind of similar. The track I used is called "Brutal Clubbing", hence why I wanted to use it. But it was done in 2002, and Groovejet c...

Re: Bed Buggery

So having recently caught myself up on the last couple of years of LRR (I have been a bad fan and absent for too long), this has to be one of my favourite videos you've done. Possibly it's because of my own experience with bed bugs. Possibly because it's just really, really funny.

I wish I'd been dealing with Dame Nellie Melba on $100 notes. Rare for me to get my hands on one of those.

Re: Do you have a Blog or Twitter account? Post yours here.

Looong time since I last posted. My wife and I have a blog where we write sarcastic social commentaries on Disney movies. We're working our way through the back catalogue and we've managed to find all sorts of craziness. We havent updated for a bit, but we're hoping to once I get through the next se...

I HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE DON'T POST ANYTHING ON A WEB-BOARD FOR AGES AND THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN APPEAR AGAIN, BUT THEY CANT START BY SAYING ANYTHING NICE. THEY JUST RANT AND RANT AND RANT ABOUT CERTAIN KINDS OF PEOPLE, AND THEY ONLY TYPE IN CAPS!

I HATE THOSE PEOPLE.

I have to have the podcasts up to full to hear them on the train. Which really sucks when either Matt blows the levels or someone laughs loudly or whatever. I have to constantly adjust the volume.

My fiance plans on taking my name. Her last name only has 1 syllable and tends to get lost when telling people her full name. Mine has 2 and is therefore not so likely to be missed. We have considered hyphenating our names to maximise the levels of pomposity, but wont be using that version for anyth...

Either the Saint of Travel, or the Saint of Roll'z. I think a combination of both is likely.

Definitely use of some sort of crane or equivilent in there. I noticed little wobbles it started to lift. That sometimes cant be avoided. Some of the best in the world sometimes you can notice a wobble.

On the XKCD forums somebody did the math. If Hawking radiation did not exist and the micro-black-hole didn't evaporate, it would take on the order of several thousand years before it consumed one kilogram of mass. This is a result of E=mc^2. The mass of the black hole is equal to the amount of ener...

The would have to be some sort of organizing committee rather than try to organize it democratically. Beyond the winners of the awards, I think it would be a good idea if parts of the presentation were kept secret so they would be a surprise both to the crew and to other fans. One idea to cut down ...
