Re: Thinking back to simpler times...
I'm here, too and I still have a password. I agree that this was a great time and place for me. I remember it fondly, but I also don't think it's practical for the time and place, anymore. LRR is different than it was and so is the community. I also agree with AlexanderDitto that discord will probab...

What is one of the best changes each of you have seen or experienced due to James becoming full time LRRer?

Re: PAX South
My wife, who knows about such things, informs me the venue only charges for the square footage you use. The vast open spaces unused concrete were not PAX's to use. That clears that up.

Re: PAX South
This was the first time meeting LRR so that was cool. Turns out they're normal people. Alex was tired like any Nirmal PAX attendee, Cam was exactly as nice, patient and well-spoken as on camera, and Graham was 100% ON all the time for all the fans with a constant positive vibe. It felt like they got...

Re: PAX South
The Drawful event on Sunday is in the main theater so it's likely to be livestreamed. The LRR panel is unlikely to be streamed. They usually record their panels and put them up ... sometime.

Re: PAX South
Formal LRR Panel, there's only the Friday one. It looks like Graham and Alex are scheduled to be on the "PA & Friends Play Drawful" Panel on Sunday (11 am local) so they'll not only be there on Sunday, you'll probably get to see them performing!

Re: PAX South
Thanks Dedwrekka! Anyone free Saturday night? I looked at the schedule and while the concerts sound fun, I will happily forego them in favor of hanging out with LRR fans and wheedle Graham et al to make an appearance. I've never been to San Antonio, PAX (anywhere) or a LRR Meetup (anywhere). Any ide...

Re: PAX South
Any LRR meetup this week/weekend? My wife and I should be getting in Thursday night. While a little chilly at night, the weather during the day will be gorgeous. I know they have panel. It seems likely they'll have a booth/table too. Seeing the LRR folks will be the highlight of the weekend. Having ...

Lots of the Old Guard coming here to share memories. Same as Evil Jim, this is the only artist death to hit me hard. I never met him in person and he hasn't even been on camera for a long time, but I'll miss him nonetheless. His 0-crash shift will be remembered. Even without knowing the specifics, w...

Even better: Graham said on Twitter that I could make a thing for them for the baby and he gave me color choices for them. And then I found some really nice yarn and I'm totally going to knit them a blanket. Yay for knitting! Yay for LRRBabby! Trisha Lynn ...any excuse to buy yarn, really... Oh man...

If I recall, Alex made a psychodelic freaky website that could serve as the Worst Animated Desktop Ever. I've long since lost the link.

LoadingReadyTheNextGeneration LRTNG Some umpteen years down the road when the babbies are ready to have their own social media presence LoadingReadyRun: The Next Generation (LRR:TNG) seems like a good handle. If you're not following twitter feeds, you may not have caught the breaking news. If you're not following twitter feeds, you probably don't follow the forums, but whatevs. Graham and Kathleen are having a baby ! Or have people on the forum known this for, like, 3 months? It is news to me. Congratula...

Wife and I will be there! We hope some peoples from LRR will be there, too. We've only ever met Morgan in person so it would be cool to get to shake some hands. We started following LRR at Desert Bus 2 so it's been a long time coming. We're relocating to the Dallas area and it's only a 5 hour drive ...

I will say that I'm pretty disappointed to see games that were in development for a month get such exposure. In a single play test, there's pretty basic feedback being given. I mean, I spent well over a year playtesting and balancing the Fantastic Adventures of Professor Pigglesworth just because it...

Not sure about Mumble, but the server does have TeamSpeak 3.
Any chat server is fine. I'm just familiar with Mumble. Hope you're feeling better. Everyone at work has been sick or is sick. It seems worse this year than last.

Re: LRR Minecraft Server
Any update on this? I would consider getting back into Minecraft after I'm done with Dragon Age: Inquisition (still quite a ways, though). I've been watching some of James streaming and the crazy mods seem to breathe a lot of life into the game which got stale for me years ago. Maybe set up a mumble...

That's rather amusing since they made a really big deal about how this was going to be a competitive scene without hacked pokemon. How can you tell if they're hacking them and not just breeding them? Are they perfect Legendaries? Shiny Legendaries? Compared to previous generations, it's much, much e...

Re: The end of PATV and PAR. Is this the end of CheckPoint?
Sad to see Checkpoint go. Sad to see PATV go. Sad to see PAR to go. Kind of happy I don't have have to care about Penny Arcade anymore. PATV and PAR were the only reasons I visited those sites again. They were the only gaming-related things left there. I do hope Checkpoint will make the occasional r...
