Re: Qwerpline #00
Not really a fan of this one, Maybe it is because I have never heard/seen a Desert buss Qwerpline and all the in-jokes simply flew over my head I don't know, that is what it sorta felt like, but I will say I found it quite charming that you could clearly hear the LRR crew having fun with this proje...

For whatever it's worth, the character in the bowl (I'm inside you!) is a reference to Serious Cravings , where James is revealed as a "hampire" with the ability to transform into a bowl of pork rinds. It's a goofy enough premise that they don't get into the existential implications. I thi...

What no love for Girly Magazine Quiz? You call yourselves fans. Tsk tsk. If somebody wants to send me the season 1 dvd... I want to be a hipster about LRR videos and say that the best videos were early videos were early ones but the truth is the average quality of LRR videos has been increasing ove...

In no particular order. Quantum Documentary, because you have to respect the classics. Son of a Bitch, because it made me really like Matt. Three PS3s, because it triggered the second-most death threats. The Jonny ones, because I love wordplay (so many malapropisms!) and it takes genius to write for...

Look, I get that some animated piles of bones may be instilled with a sentience or the soul of a previously living entity, but Animate Dead is a third-level spell, while Create Undead is a SIXTH-level spell, and even with the latter able to create 'intelligent undead', often said creations are stil...

Urgh, this topic. It makes me sick, frankly. Seems nowadays you can't even say perfectly innocent things like 'boneheaded' without an army of Skeleton Justice Warriors jumping down your throat. I for one fully support Alex for bravely choosing to speak his mind in the face of this rampant Necromant...

There's a scene in Portal 2 where you have to navigate a series of hazards by repeatedly redirecting an excursion funnel (those blue glowing tubes). They found that a lot of players would drop, for example, their blue portal in the first room with the excursion funnel, then forget about 30 seconds t...

But with the Link example, it is an anti-frustration feature to know what door the switch on the other side of the temple opened. That system has been used well, but they also use it when you're being timed. Which is annoying as hell, because it makes it super challenging to complete it on the firs...

My cutscene pet peeve is when they pan the camera over to a point of interest super slow. Like when you get to a new room in one of those "cinematic" AAA games and they give you that stupid fake crane shot over the vista. Or when Link hits a button and a door opens on a timer, and while th...

Yeah, Twitch did a big old purge recently. All the LRL content is backed up locally, though, so ultimately their Youtube uploads won't be hurt by this, or by the new Twitch policy on copyrighted audio. So nothing will be lost, but it might take a while to become available. It's just a matter of Grah...

Adam's stream no longer fits in the formatting for me either. It used to look fine (yes, even at 43 hours) but now it looks like this.

The fear, I think, comes from the fact that you can only look in one place at once, and since your power is limited you can't even do that; you're obliged to spend some amount of time with the lights, cameras and doors off. I haven't played it, but it looks to me like they understand, more than othe...
