You went to Chapters? CHAPTERS!?

We, at Bolens, had a fire breather, and stilt-walkers, and jugglers, and light-dancers, and fortune tellers, and THE KNIGHT BUS....

But...well....your loss....

Yeah. There were crosses of skulls, boardering designs, quite a lot of "skull and crossbones" designs. I suppose because they had a lot of skulls and femurs, and that's what you do when you have one skull and two femurs to work with. And they had thousands upon thousands. I've heard rumou...

I was trying to make a point that it's a much bigger issue than just a "religion war" without going all preachy. "A Modest Proposal" was in poor taste, too, but it certainly got the point across. I'm less of an adept at satire than Swift was, but there you go. Sorry to have offen...

I don't think they have Starbucks in Ireland...at least, I never saw one while I was there, not even in Dublin. I think you're right. I don't drink coffee, though, so I didn't really miss it... but I do drink hot chocolate, and there were these AMAZING chocolate stores on pretty much every corner -...

Passport Anguish!

I'm going to apply for my passport tomorrow morning. Everyone wish me luck! I tried last Monday, but didn't get down to the passport office until noon at which point a woman who works there was walking down the line telling everyone that basically there was no way we'd even get to the door before cl...

I don't think they have Starbucks in Ireland...at least, I never saw one while I was there, not even in Dublin. It was a nice break for me, the year that I lived there, as I am otherwise a rampant Starbucks-oholic. It's not necessarily because the coffee is good (although I do enjoy their frappuccin...

I'm left with so many question! Like, how did Paul become a dinosaur? Was he something before, or was he just born? If a T-Rex looks like Paul, then what does the dinosaur that used to be a T-Rex look like?!

Yay Nathan! I went to elementary school with him...go PMS!

Also, way to go Graham's parents! They should join the forum so we can ask them for all the embarassing little-kid dirt on Graham!

Also....is Graham named after his mom's last name?

I didn't enjoy this movie as much as I probably could have, because I watched it too soon after reading the graphic novel. The comic blew my mind, for sure. The movie accurately represents the issues that the novel brings to light, as well as does a good job of modernising some of Alan Moore's ideas...
