Re: Who uses cheats?
As a kid I didn't have the skill to overcome a lot of end-game stuff so I would routinely wind up using cheats to beat games.
Now-a-days however, I exclusively save cheats for screwing around/sandboxing.

Re: Non-violent games
Garry's Mod technically isn't a violent game, it's a sandbox/construct program.
Can do anything from posing art, to making contraptions and make-shift machines, etc. etc.

Re: Violence in videogames
So a debate got started in my politics class today about how violent video games can contribute to violent or anti-social behaviour and thoughts. I think exposure to any form of violence, whether it be lyrics in a song, an event in a novel, a scene in a film, or a level on a game, can contribute to...

Re: Syndicate
It has an incarnate of the Persuadertron, you don't have a designated device for it, but you do have an ability that uses the same basic function. While switching to FPS sounds simpler, I think it still maintains a good level of complexity to it. There's the basic health and energy pools to manage, ...

I picked it up earlier for PC and have been playing it for a bit, and I gotta say I quite like it. It's nice to break from all the Battle...

Re: Games That you own more than one copy of.
Silent Hill: Homecoming for Xbox 360, have 3 copies. Broke one, fixed another, another came with a bundle. Half-Life 2 for PC, had 2 copies, one at lauch, another with the orange box, gave it to a friend so he could access Garry's Mod. Syphon Filter for Playstation, 2 copies, too young to know where...

Re: Ye Olde Official Skyrim Discussion Thread (Spoilers?)
I was rather displeased with the ending of the game, the whole build up to the final fight was amazing and getting your hands on, and using an actual Elder Scroll was fucking amazing. But the last guy went down like a pussy, I was expecting an epic struggle but I whooped his ass first try with no re...

I would think the combined launches of Modern Warfare 3 and Skyrim would probably be responsible for the slowness.

Only in this day and age can you get a photo/video of an evil dictator within 10-20 minutes of them being captured by their rebelling people.
I wonder what the Medieval times would have been like if they had camera phones and the internet.

Re: Any Bronies up in here?
Okay well I feel about 80% gayer for actually having sat there and watched it, but it's not that bad. I will purposely abstain from watching it just because I make myself feel like a fruit for watching it. Also, fuck watching 3-4 episodes. Just from my perspective, that sounds like a solid ploy to s...

Re: Any Bronies up in here?
Seeing as I can't figure out how a show about ponies has caught on in such quick succession with young males, I shall take it upon myself to watch the the first episode to test myself to see if I have an immunity to it or not. I guess if I like it; I for one, will welcome my new pony overlords. And ...

Re: Why I will not be buying any LA Noire DLC...
1. From the small amount that I played the game at a friends house, I thought it was pretty good. It's a nice shift from everything else in the market right now.
2. If work conditions are really that bad, anyone with any sense should have left so it's their fuckin' problem for putting up with it.
