Re: GPLP: Venetica

I really enjoyed watching this Lets Play. Mostly for the commentary but I also thought the game looked interesting. I think because of the hammer. I really like hammers. So after Paul & Graham were done with it I wanted to see what happened next. I went and did a search on YouTube for Lets Play ...

Re: the "nerd rage" thread

My greatest nerd rage was focused on the release of 4E D&D. It blinded me. made me incoherent. Frothing, wordless, uncontrolled rage. Thank the gods that we have Pathfinder.

Spiked chains are a close second.

Showgirls. It was full of amazing beautiful naked women and it was still the worst film I have ever seen.

Cerulean Seas Campaign Setting Review [YouTube Link]

I review the aquatic Pathfinder setting book, Cerulean Seas by Alluria Publishing. I forgot to mention that this book contains material from the Advanced Players Guide, which was a nice bonus. Re: RPG Rant: RAW [YouTube Link]

By the book GMs are no fun, if they are strictly by the book. I knew a guy who wouldn't let someone cast a spell, because in the spell description it said "he" and the character was a female. Lame. Generally speaking, I'm lenient, follow the rules, and allow space for bending them when ap...

There already is a Warlock class. And I know many Witches that would be *really* unhappy with the use of that term for a male witch.

No way, no matter how witchy a man might be, could they join a hag coven.

It's like having a male amazonian, it just doesn't make sense.

Re: RPG Rant: RAW [YouTube Link]

House rules are good for groups that have played together a while, whereas by the book is good for a new group. You know, IMO. I concur with this statement heartily. The ONLY thing I'm not clear about is Witches in pathfinder. The description only uses she, witch is stereotypically a woman (but you...

Re: RPG Rant: RAW [YouTube Link]

Query: are we counting official errata? Is giving a player more gold than specified (for example when my 2 person group that I was GMing for started, I gave them a bit of a boost by letting them have a bit more gold so they'd be a bit more balanced) a "house rule?" Because outside of that...

Weirdest Yard Sale find...

I know that some of the Crew like to go to yard sales for prop shopping. I also love a good yard sale. Mostly because I am cheap and like the weird. I recently stumbled upon the item that I consider to be the oddest purchase from a yard sale. See the video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Veavr...
