Re: You there, boy! Go fetch me Bradley Rains
I am asking you to inspire me with 4 melodies of music, each lasting no more than 8 measures, all the chords that go well with them, and maybe up to 7 ideas for variations on those themes. That's a lot to ask for. This. "Really?" Yes! Really. Seriously, did you read my post? You are askin...

Whew. Ok. So many feelings. Bear with me. I hate to be a downer here, but with that phrase you already know where I'm going with this. Please whatever you do, don't let me abate your enthusiasm for music, or music by numbers, or indeed anything . Live your own life! Go your own way! :D Remember this...

Re: PAYING JOB OPPORTUNITY for Web Developers from Bradley R
#3 is the only question I can answer for sure (as I don't know enough about it to answer the rest). I don't need an entire website built. What I need is a very specific widget built that will be hosted by me on my dot com. Again I don't know enough about it to answer adequately, but it would probabl...

PAYING JOB OPPORTUNITY for Web Developers from Bradley Rains

I wanted to throw it out to the LRR community first because you guys have been so good to me over the years. - I need a turnkey installation of a very specific asset to my websi...

Re: The Job
Number 1: At 1:57 into the video, is that Dave from Pure Pwnage speaking all of a sudden? He says "Yeah I gotta go too." Struck me as kinda random. I believe that's a sample in Bradley's music, as it plays again in the video at about 2:30 or so. Yeah...uh...hmmm. About that... See the way...

Re: Merry Christmas Graham Stark
It sounded better with music. And Bradley made about 20 minutes worth of music for a 6 minute video, so I used everything I could. Fair enough. Does Bradley have a way to download stuff? The Vince Guaraldi treatment he does would slip nicely into any Christmas playlist. Graham, Paul, and I are in t...

Re: Hey Bradely Rains (or any musically oriented personage)
Ha. Yeah I've definitely thought about it. My list of cover songs I'd like to do is ongoing and non-ending. On average I get the idea for a 'reinvention' of a song at least once a day. But I have neither the time nor the manpower to even entertain the idea of getting to them. My original songs come ...

Re: Save Our Games
Ok, dorky question but I have to ask. Is the music at the very beginning from Super Mario 64? Sounds a LOT like the underwater theme from there. Not a dorky question at all! I got my inspiration for that track from many sources. One of which was, in fact, the theme from the Super Mario 64 world Dir...

also, and maybe it's just me, but does it seem to anyone else like there's a particular...confidence...in Paul and Graham's delivery on this vid that isn't necessarily present in all other LRR vids? they just seem to have this look that says "yeah, we're awesome. we've been awesome for years. w...

Re: How to LRR
one of my favorite LRR vids to date. my favorite aspect of the vid was the entrances and exits. the segues. they were very...theatrical? of the stage, i mean. (maybe i'm not explaining myself very well.) they were well thought out. very entertaining. reminiscent of Matthew Broderick in Ferris Buelle...

Re: Phailhaüs - 26
i think one thing that often gets overlooked is the quality of the editing on LRR vids. especially the new ones. i mean go back and look at any LRR vid from a even year ago and then look at a recent one. the difference is quite noticeable. i wonder if the practice they get from editing commodore eps...

I did! It was just something in his finger pointing...or perhaps it was the nasal qualities of his voice that shone through even from underneath the Vader-y voice effects!
