Re: Portal 2 ("MASSIVE FUCKING SPOILERS!")

The third era of Aperture Science was really tugging at the old heart strings...as funny as the burn-down-your-house-with-lemons bit was, it was almost too tragic to be elicit any actual laughter.

Re: Your favourite band (METAL Edition)

There's only one metal band worth a damn. If it's not Pantera it's not metal. But seriously, most the bands mentioned in this thread I wouldn't classify as metal. (Slipknot? Metal? Are you fucking kidding me? *Repressed Metal Head Rage Raising*) But that's the problem with the genre (or rather genr...

I've been playing the Bulletstorm demo since it came out...before that I was all about the Assassin's Creed Brotherhood; the multiplayer is surprisingly fun.

I already claimed mine, even though I already have ME2 (which I have yet to play)...the bonus side is that I got all the Cerebus Network stuff this time.

Re: crysis 2 finally out

I loved Crysis (or at least the first two acts)...and I was stoked to play the MP Demo when it came out, but I can say for sure that I will be waiting to pick this up until I a) get my proper gaming rig moved to where I'm living and b) upgrade the video card in her. The MP demo is probably one of th...

Re: I now officially hate the Escapist

I joined the Pub Club when they were donating half of the proceeds to Desert Bus. I never thought I'd pay for web content, but this has been totally worth it.

Mostly cause I never had to watch another Slim Jim ad. God those were annoying.

Re: Official LRR @ PAX East Thread

I had a blast at PAX this year...so much fun, so many good people.

It was awesome hanging out with TomBrend all weekend, and seeing Jillers. Using a D4 to decide which restaurant to go to with Kathleen et al on Thursday night was awesome.

Re: Official LRR @ PAX East Thread

Man, this was one awesome weekend. As I write this I'm sitting in Logan Airport typing away on my phone, waiting for the long trek home to begin. I had an amazing time hanging out with the likes of TomBrend (whose hospitality is unparalleled) and Jillers...meeting people like Ditto and davefp was aw...

Being region locked sucks :( I read on Rock, Paper, Shotgun that it was EA's decision to hold digital copies to the physical copies European release date. I don't remember any real justification, so I assume it was to make sure that sales of the physical PC version and console versions wouldn't be h...

Re: Official LRR @ PAX East Thread

Well its official:
3DS to be playable at PAX East

The games list is surprisingly long considering Nintendo has one of the smaller booths at the show...Who knows maybe everyone will think that it'll be too busy and not bother to line up.

Hey, I can dream can't I?
