Re: Qwerpline Ep01 - Damnable Dams

Oh. My. God. So funny! I'll have to remember not to listen to this while out walking. I don't need more weird looks from passers by. :D

While some people may not like the out of character sections, I enjoy them. Please leave them in. :)

Re: NEW VIDEO - Ways to Get Video Ideas

heh Paul's reading The Ultimate Joke Encyclopaedia. I have that right *reaches to shelves* here. Now to predict future videos!

Let's see... "What is a skeleton? Someone who went on a diet and forgot to say 'when'." Ah ha! They're going to do a video of bad dieting advice.

Now I can't stop thinking that Beej IS one of Paul's inventions and he's been left slumped in a corner somewhere next to Mr Ballsmotron.

Re: Yell, Strip and Steal

Emu as a guard animal? Nah, they're not as aggressive as you think. What you really want is a Cassowary. They're similar to an emu but much more aggressive and territorial. Also, remember the first Jurassic Park movie where they were talking about the big, sharp claw the velociraptor had? Cassowarie...

Loved this one! References and old characters for those who knew them without making it one huge in-joke. Nicely done!

Marathon Trilogy for iOS

I've just stumbled across the Marathon Trilogy in the iTunes store and thought some people on here may be interested. They're all free and they're all universal apps to keep Graham happy. :) I have no idea how well they play as they're still downloading but if the ratings are anything to go by they ...

Re: LRRcast for Scout's Oil PAX Accountant

If anyone else is still hanging out for an audio only version of this podcast it might be worth giving something on this list a try http://www.google.com.au/search?q=download+youtube+audio . The YouTube link to use is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=085H1iZrByg . I'm downloading an MP3 of the podcast...

Re: LRRcast for Scout's Oil PAX Accountant

Sorry folks, we're struggling with Blip right now. The whole disallowing downloads thing is a huge problem, and then we figured "well, why not just use YouTube then?" But YT doesn't auto-MP3 and upload to iTunes, so I guess we have to do both. Or something. We'll get an MP3 up this week, ...

Sir Douglas Mawson on the $100 note? Sweet! Can I borrow your time machine? I've had to put up with Dame Nellie Melba for the past 16 years. :) HEY. Tell that to Wikipedia. Stupid Wikipedia... Re: S2E4 - Beyond Infinity

Halo is sort of the spiritual successor to Marathon. There are a lot of references to Marathon in Halo, especially in Halo 1, but I don't think there's any direct link.

Which way to the change rooms? I just Marathoned.

Also this seems like a good time to mention Aleph One. An open source version of the Marathon 2 game engine. Using Aleph One you can play through the Marathon trilogy on current PC's. It's available from http://source.bungie.org/

Carmageddon: Reincarnation

Max Damage is back! Well almost. He just needs a little more funding to make it to the starting line. Stainless Games, the people who made Carmageddon and Carmageddon II: Carpocalypse Now, have recently got the rights to the Carmageddon brand back from the publisher and are working on a new Carmage...
