Re: I hate postal services
Purolator is the one that drives me nuts. More than once (read: twice) I've worked from home, knowing that an important parcel was supposed to arrive that day. In my apartment, I often work about 10-15 feet away from the front door, and my door is equipped with the most obnoxious, loud, teeth-rattli...

Re: Canadian Federal Election 2011
A friend of mine just sent me this site. It's making me laugh... nervously. http://conssayyes.tumblr.com So many sketchy things, and yet nothing ever seems to stick to Harper and the conservatives. I really hope he doesn't win... but at least really, really hope he doesn't get a majority.

Re: The Secret of the Sauce
One of the best LRR vids in quite some time - not to say the recent ones have been bad (How to LRR was amazing!) but this was just... amazing. Very, very well done. (And agreed on the quality of the effects - stunning!)

Re: Building a PC
To be honest, I know that the games I mentioned don't always require the highest level of quality - but that's partially because I've been severely limited in my PC gaming abilities - my current computer is very old, and so I think the last new game I actually bought was Civ 4. And even it doesn't r...

Building a PC
For a while now, I've been realizing that I'm going to need to pick up a new PC - our old Dell desktop has been slowly dying. Now, I've had terrible luck picking up pre-bundled computers at places like Future Shop and Best Buy, and I've generally heard that the best way to go about getting a new PC ...

Quite good, quite good. Helps that I hate Twitter in general, but the simple "I AM A BIG POOP" got a big laugh from me.

Katamari Damacy. A friend of mine got it when it was brand spankin' new, but had been explaining the concept to me before its release. I thought to myself... that sounds stupid, and like there's no challenge to it at all.
The second I played it though, I was hooked.

Re: Why I don't play my Wii
I like sitting down to play a game, why can't they understand most people enjoy sitting down and eating and or drinking while playing a game, jumping about is for healthy, social and attractive people. Man, what is wrong with you people? MOST people DO want to jump around, that's why the Wii sells ...

Re: The Joystique
Yeah, they say that the Joystique is going to be on distributor's shelves already, but... I just don't think that the tech is ready. My guess is we won't see this for two, maybe three years. And even then, it'll be rudimentary. You'll probably only be able to use it for "hardcore" games, n...

Re: Ghostbusters 25th Anniversary
Ghostbusters is amazing - definitely up there in my most-watched. It's great because not only are the main story points really funny, but it can actually be genuinely scary. The librarian at the beginning? Terrified me as a kid. Loved it. Plus, even the little things are great, which I credit mostly...
