Re: A request

Right you are! He lied about lying to lay the tiles, perhaps? And duly ammended. As for the story, well, the material I have is short; I have about 5 minute segments of a range of ideas. This is part of a larger idea about a fella who's a bit similar to Walter Mitty, but not so much a far gone fanta...

Re: Cat-ear headset controlled by brainwaves?

Awww! But it only really seems to go up and down. Where's the 'what's that behind me?!', the 'I'm loving this cheek rub' and the ever famous 'I'M A SNAKE, I'M A SNAKE, LOOK, MY TAIL IS FLICKING AND I'M ALL HISSING AND STUFF!'? Wasn't there a toy like this a while ago, jedi-mind trainer or something?...

A request

And not, this time, from a Nigerian prince. Now, I don't bob along here very often; I do read a bit, but next to never post, so I'm probably rather unfamiliar to the lot of you. Which I have to say makes this a perfect opportunity if you don't all mind my being so bold. I don't plan on pursuing a gr...

You're Swedish! Don't you guys have social healthcare and a shitload of depression? Your health system should be ready to handle exactly your case.

AmazingPjotrMan remembers me! Well, by virtue of being on msn... I feel so lonely now. So I suppose I'll just have to start all over again! What attracted you all to this place? And why the hell isn't LRR more well known, already?

Re: calling all LOADINGREADYRUNNERS

One thing strikes me about this forum, one massive change.
This thread actually stayed on topic for more than 3 posts, and it didn't even really have a topic.

you've changed!

Re: Introduce yourselves! (A friendly topic for new members)

I choose to interpret the subject line [Re: Introduce yourselves! (A friendly topic for new members)] as Reintroduce yourselves! So, I used to follow LRR quite frequently, then I didn't, then I wondered what everyone was up to and so I thought I'd pop in. Anyone here I might remember? Anyone here mi...

So is that not allowed in the US even in cases of Parody? I mean Weird Al Yankovic didn't always ask permission, or so I hear.

I thought such things were allowed for parody? I'm not expert on law, especially US law, but I always thought that might be the case. If so, that could be why they're focusing on the "People might think the 'facts' were true due to the book's title." angle. It seems they're arguing: Facts ...

I've never really thought about it, but I just like to think that they're an entirely different development. Basically a civilisation that took more and more to technology, or a faction, or some such, and then the Borg happened, but a development that is so fundamental that really it doesn't need to...

1. Uhm, what the hell happened to the squirrel? 2. No, I don't mean 'a' cramp... [though any cramp down there would just be, oh dear.] 3. I haven't been eating the bananas recently... but you only salt them lightly! As for stretching it out, yeah, I do, but they're recurring, really annoying... as f...

Cramp - Most mundane thread ever.

Uhm, I get cramp, quite a bit actually. Sometimes I make a conscious effort to aim for the salt and bananas... or salt on bananas (damn that tastes nice), and marmite as well... sometimes I dip the bananas in marmite. Now, I know sodium and potassium are good for preventing cramp, but in all honest ...
