Re: Damn you, Fiscal Irresponsibility Fairy! Damn you to Hel

My FIF just made me buy a month of EVE subscription. Damn you FIF! You get enticed by that succulent 9.95 deal going on this month? ...me too. Clanmate still plays it, I got tired of listening to him go on and on about the game and causing me to remember the Raven, Drake, Bustard and eventual Tengu...

Monochrome t-shirt, khakis, and white running shoes is as professional as I get. 90% of the time I'm at work I'm covered by a lab coat anyway, so that becomes my attire more than anything else.

Re: Saints Row 3: Awesometown

I was rather disappointed by the choices for the ending. The rest of the game was alright, but the end petered off quickly to me. The choice that led to a more "Saints Row-esque" ending left a massive bitter taste in my mouth, whereas the other caused the Saints to revert back to the way t...

QWOP wakes up at 4 o'QWOP in the morning, and goes toward the shower.

7 o'QWOP arrives, and QWOP is late for training for the Olympics, because he is still bouncing along on his heels and thighs towards the shower. The song is no longer playing for him.

Now I'm sad. Desert Bus is over. I missed the end due to having to sleep so I would be alive today keeping the sick alive. LRR, you guys are amazing. From the drivers, to Tally and Kathleen setting up, to EVERYONE behind the scenes making it run at all, thank you. I figured we'd hit 300k. I never th...

Re: How Many Forums Are You A Part Of?

Does anyone else find it weird that we mostly frequent this forum? It's like we just became more familyesque than we had thought. I'm not too surprised, honestly. While I spend a lot of my time lurking, when you get a large number of decent people together with a common interest (in this case, LRR ...

Re: The Official Desert Bus IV thread!!!

You clearly weren't around for the aftermath of that, where it ended up being "play pig, watch pig, get pig". Which then changed into what was requested for the auction Notch did, which was to get whatever you want put in as a text on the title screen.

I figured this might belong more in here than in the Minecraft thread, given it's origins.

Hey guys, I got this card recently and I'm not exactly sure on what the rebound effect of this is exactly. Can someone explain it to me better? http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=198298 Basically, when you cast the card, remove it from the game. At the start of your ne...

Dibs on Mars. Anyone wants to explore it, they need to run it by me first. I won't have any riffraff walking over my planet's surface.

*shrug* Buy one of the premades they release with every expansion set? Those are fairly usable decks, from what I remember of them. The other thing you could do is check out http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Magazine/Archive.aspx?tag=Building%20on%20a%20Budget&description=Building%20on%20a%20Budge t ...

It's always fun to have a staple in your deck (in my case, the ensnaring bridge) and never see it for 5 games straight. I wouldn't even want to know what would happen if I tossed another 40 or so cards in there.

Yup! The only person not playing their own was Kroze, standing in for Jer as the DM.

And Kroze pulled it off well, in my opinion. The whole encounter was amusing to watch and listen.

I am picking back up games with my gaming clan now that DBFH is over, given I neglected about everything but handhelds and Dungeon Crawl for 6 days.

It's less painful, I guess, because my birthday is in 5 days, so I'm anticipating that more than feeling the loss of Desert Bus

I just bought a case of club soda. Let the clubbing commence. Fun fact, there has been club soda in my house for YEARS, I guess my dad drank it at one point. It's an old school burn deck with a side of field control by preventing the opponent's big hitters from attacking. That would be correct, and it worked quite nicely for the longest time, until artifacts became a common thing in decks, and everything had artifact removal in it as a result. I miss th...
