Sometimes a truly special film comes along and you just gotta necro that ancient thread of Morgan photoshops....

My favourite video since the last Whole Story! Nice and pacey.

Well, I expect Starfleet to do something about this intolerable situation. Commander, if you have suspicions of this human then I must insist that you arrest him at once!

Re: Star Trek Mafia - Day 1 Alpha Shift
Quite the most tiresome holodeck simulation I've ever encountered. I can't imagine who programmed it... Except maybe a native of Penantela. I spent several months there as a junior attaché; a desert world, frightfully dull place. The children seemed to appreciate it, though.

Re: Star Trek Mafia - Day 1 Alpha Shift
[Yeah, I think we generally have to end up halting mafia during DB. At least this time it's not right in the middle of a game, so it should pick up again okay afterwards.]

Food would be most welcome.
Commander aeric90, as Hekaran Ambassador I must strongly protest against any suggestion of tampering with subspace fields. The consequences could be disastrous, especially if such tampering will affect the power cores as Lieutenant Dutch Guy suggests.

Not verbs? You don't want to Space-Vote to Space-Lynch someone.
Good point. Splynching will commence shortly.

Re: BASTARD mafia GAME OVER TOWN AND ELVOR WINS
Funny, that. :) Preacher and Ptangmatik were the other members of our group of Masons. (We were called the Assassins, because of Ptangmatik's ability, but we weren't going to tell you guys that because we knew you'd be convinced we were evil!) I would genuinely have wanted to save Ptang for the reas...

Re: BASTARD mafia Day Three
So if all threats have been eliminated, what if we are dealing with a lone survivor here. Someone who has to outlast all of us, but has no inherent night kill ability. It can't be that. A lone survivor with no special abilities wouldn't constitute a threat to the town, so our victory condition woul...

Re: BASTARD mafia Day Three
I highly doubt killing the GM is the new win condition; that's far too boring. And refusing to lynch will achieve no purpose whatsoever other than delaying any attempt to work out what's going on. And is also really boring. We Masons received no further instructions at the end of play yesterday. I'm...

Re: BASTARD mafia Day Two
Yes, I'm the serial killer. I'd lynch me too. That said? Know that doing so is definitely pressing the advantage of someone here. If I'm the only threat, and I suspect I am, then this is now all going to come down to numbers, and Aeric's gang has the edge early thanks to me. Um... You killed one of...

Re: BASTARD mafia Day Two
I can confirm everything Tapir has said. Here's the issue, if you are a group of Masons, you certainly wouldn't reveal this information this early if you are townsfolk aligned. I'm assuming that that has gameplay implications, potentially (and honestly, probably) beyond the three of you simply havin...

Re: BASTARD mafia Day Two
I can't help feeling I've been backed into a corner where Duckay's the only person I can vote for if I want even a chance to save myself from being lynched. I'm gonna be pissed off if she's Town. Still, in the last game I tried to put off voting until the last minute and missed every single vote, so...

Really, Tapir? Not even me? Because I can't deny I've been throwing my weight around. (Sadly, this tends to happen when I have enough free time on my hands and people question my decisions.) However... It's not so much that I was getting bad vibes off Duckay, or anyone else on the list, I just wasn'...

I suppose it could just be that some people have less free time or they're trying out a different playstyle, but we can't exactly sit around and do nothing out of fear that we'll misinterpret someone's motives.

Agreed, good mafia players do tend to be skilled at acting the part of injured innocence. But it's the lack of that kind of behaviour I'm talking about here. Which is... odd.

So good!
Much as I love Missie's line, the blood-peeing joke and all the poster credits, my favourite moment is Paul's masterful delivery of "Aaaaahhhhh, I'm so frightened, aaaaahhhhh..."
