Re: Andy in Eureka!

... Nah, I think I'll stick with the first option. And just... maybe warn him to carry mace with him, y'know, just in case?

... What if he already DOES carry mace, and sprays ANYONE who randomly says hi to them, for fear of a repeat of that one horrible time a fan pounced on him? Hmmmm...

Re: Andy in Eureka!

I just passed Andy on the street! Well, not JUST, but earlier this afternoon, at about 4:30, outside Save-on at Station Square. I wanted to say "Hi", but didn't really know what to say after that... as I'm pretty sure he's got no clue who ~I~ am. Besides, you know, a fan. Anyway, it was a ...

Re: Lobster vs Scorpion

Great video, with so many different punchlines and parodies. I've always enjoyed how you guys manage to cross different ideas as a vehicle for a joke with an over-all theme. This one seems to be mocking, oh, you know all of youtube-ian culture (like the frat-boy posting animal fights for yuks) and t...

I'd give it an A: Absolutely awesome. Another on the favorites list. "Oh in the name of all the nameless-gods-of-infernal-darkness!" Seriously, Tally did an awesome job on those guys. I love the close up shots. There's something very "Albi the Racist Dragon" about the whole thing...

Re: commodoreHUSTLE 10 - Judgement

I look forward to cHustle every month. I don't watch much television (I have maybe 3 shows in rotation that I try to follow), but if this was on, I'd clear my schedule, turn off the phone, and hunker down for a good time. I LOVE this series. I'd hate to use the word "amatuer", because you ...

Awesome,Phailhaüs! Honestly, I miss this as part of my LRR experience. Don't get me wrong, I understand everyone is busy having LIVES, and that priority is given to the actual shoots, but it still would be nice to see this as a regular contribution. Matt did such an excellent job, it got me thinking...

Re: Economic Stimulus

Andy, Andy, Andy... it's all about Andy? Aye, he's a born entertainer - triple threat powerhouse, whose presence deserves to be felt by all; stoking the fires in appreciation for talent in theatre - but that was already expected with his name on the credits. To be fair, I have to agree that some of ...

I'd like to get on here early enough to make a post that doesn't merely echo all the good points made before me :p But, hey, that's the nature of a forum - especially critiquing videos. I like many others, enjoyed the "laid-back" approach to humor in this one. Made me kind of nostalgic tow...

Re: commodoreHUSTLE 08 - Investigation

Yeah, the man-luvin'-dream was hilarious, but not the highlight of the episode. I'm kind of surpised there's such a big deal between that and the poo jokes. I mean, sure, the poo-jokes are repeated throughout, but I thought of it more as an underscore to some great gags brought forth through writing...

Re: commodoreHUSTLE 08 - Investigation

LoL Hilarious as it is - and absolute props to Matt and James for going the distance for a GOOD joke - perhaps it might be wise to ease off it? Y'know, not making such a big deal about it? Wouldn't want to scare 'em away from doing it again. 'Cause that would be sad. Very sad. I can see them sitting...

WOW. Awesome work guys, applause all around. Great writing, acting, and especially the editting. The cuts work really well - I think "Rapidfire" was mentioned, but this is so much more... elevated . This one is just PACKED with so many good jokes, I don't even know where to begin. But with...

Me too actually, it's like Fooly Cooly: It makes more sense the more you watch it. ... Wait, FLCL makes sense !? As for LRR's video, I gotta say, maybe it's the fact that I only got less than 4 hrs of sleep, this one didn't do it for me, so much. A couple of chuckle moments, but I was left a little...

Re: Loading Ready Gym

As someone that spent most of their teens and early 20's with a hyper-metabolism that allowed food digestion akin to that of a super-hero and not gain any weight, I've always been one to indulge. Being active definately had its benefits, and a heavy labor-intensive job led me to take it for granted....

Forum update? Did I miss something? ... huh. ... Anyway, love the "behind the scenes" look at making the videos, it's great to see what goes into one of the videos. For all the grumbling from the LRR Crew, it sounds like a great way to spend Saturdays if you ask me; hanging out with people...

I had to take a hiatus from Loading Ready Run in season five because of some pain in the ass legal work contractual arrangements I won't go into. Wait, I know you said you won't go into it, but you actually weren't allowed to take part in LRR? Bummer. I hope it was worth it. I mean, I'm assuming pa...

Yeah, I agree, the pacing was a little... off for this one. But the triple-punch was a nice pay-off. I love the "drinking" with the masks on. Subtle, and nicely done. I hope we get to see the mask props put to good use in the future! And serious props to Brad and Lindsay's scene in the car...

Oh, yeah, can't forget props to James for solo writing credits . Definately well done. Maybe we'll see more of such from the LRR team? Some solid acting, too! Though I personally wasn't sold on Graham's characters "need" to escape the situations by means of ninja smokebomb. However his pho...
