Re: Is Qwerpline over?
Graham answered this at Desert Bus; as of the start of the run, they had 2 episodes completely recorded, and more on the way. The plan is to record a bunch, then release them at regular intervals, and do it in basically seasons.

Re: Season DVDs
You might want to try asking on the LRR Discord; it's a lot more active, so you're more likely to be seen on there.
Here's the link.

I generally use Imgur for all my image uploading purposes.
Images posted don't have to be shared to the community, so it does have good privacy, as far as I'm aware.

Re: Old LRR sketches
Huge swathes of seasons 4, 5, and 6, aswell as most pre-Escapist bonus videos, and the first 24 Phailhaüs episodes were lost a year or two ago when Blip.tv went under. On top of this, most of season 1 was taken off the site when LRR were running out of server space during seasons 2 and 3, and due to...

Re: LRR builds PC's
From what I understand, 4K only really makes a big difference when you can do the full HDR on an OLED monitor. (A lot of the time, LED simply means LCD with an LED backlight, it needs to be OLED for it to be a proper LED monitor) I might very well be wrong, but that's the way I understand it. In any...

Re: Doctor Who
I'd heard he was collaborating with Mark Gatiss on a Dracula series.
I'd like them to focus on Sherlock's next season to be honest, and hopefully they can deliver a satisfying finalé, then they can put all their energy towards making Dracula really good after that.

Re: Doctor Who
That was a fun read.
I do look forward to whatever Moffat does next. Maybe now that he hasn't got Doctor Who to do, he can focus on Sherlock and give us a season 5 that makes up for the mistakes of season 4.

Re: Doctor Who
It's going to go more downhill than it already has been? They're getting a new showrunner; it's the guy who runs Broadchurch. We have no idea how he'll be. I personally am cautiously optimistic. Don't want to get my hopes up after how disappointing Moffat turned out, but I hear this guy's good, so ...

Re: Doctor Who
I had similar complaints during all of Moffat's run, but he definitely ironed it out in this most recent season, I'd say. And I think Capaldi was definitely a little shaky during his first season, but he figured it out in the last couple of seasons. In this one in particular, he was pretty great IMO...

Re: Doctor Who
The idea was that, because of the atrocities he committed in the Time War, the War Doctor didn't call himself the Doctor. When he became Eccleston, he denounced that version of himself, and called himself #9. The rest of the incarnations followed suit, and by the time the Tennant and Smith incarnati...

So, exposition dumper it is.
Well then, o holy one, please answer me this ancient conundrum that has passed down the generations, and yet not even the wisest sage on the tallest mountain in the world could answer -- why do hot dogs come in packs of 10, but hot dog buns come in packs of 8?

Out of curiosity, which type of god are you? Like, the singular all-powerful entity type of god, the Greek type of god where you're the god of one thing among a whole pantheon, or like a Dragon Ball god where you have a specific duty that you are supposed to do, but you basically end up just sitting...

That looks delightful. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for that one. :) I picked up The Binding Of Isaac: Rebirth in the current sale. Man, I love this game. I was a fan of the original Binding Of Isaac, but the at times sluggish engine would often put me off, and I hadn't actually played it for age...

In my book, there's no such thing as a bad excuse to rewatch the Tenth Planet. And honestly, even though it would of course be better to have the real thing, I love the look of the animated episode 4. PlasmaCow -- Perhaps, but they probably wouldn't have been able to go up very far before t...

Loved it. It was flawed, but great fun, tied up the loose ends nicely, and although I think last week's was a better episode, this was great fun, and really well acted. Can't wait for the Xmas special. They might just say there were a few masters between Simm and Gomez, or they might just use the ol...

Re: The General Chat thread
I've been looking to start reading Spider-Man comics for a while, but it's always seemed daunting to have 50 years' worth of comics to read, plus buying all of that would cost a mint. Some people online suggest picking it up from Dan Slott's run starting at #648 of Amazing Spider-Man. Thankfully, bu...

Re: Doctor Who
Loved this episode. I knew about both twists, and I think I would have enjoyed it more without knowing in advance. However, the episode still kicked all kinds of ass, and I can't wait for next week. As a side-note, the title of this episode was in the opening line of my favourite Rush song, and ...
