Re: What is Adam Baldwin thinking?

Hey guys, not sure if this has already been covered (it's a long thread) but I was wondering if anyone knew of any studies on the likelihood of online abuse towards female gamers. One of my friends is interested and asked me: "Honest question, in 2014 are female gamers more likely to be abused ...

Re: Seeking Inspiration

This sounds an awful lot like Unknown Armies. I've not heard of the avatar of disappointment though, is that a custom avatar? As for this problem, Bibliomancy sounds the most likely for the character. Philosophy prof collects books, just slightly moreso than is healthy, and then it all spirals into ...

Yessssssssssssss. Completely obsessed with Netrunner. Just finished going to ALL THE TOURNAMENTS as the season just finished. Came 30th out of 66 in the Open Qualifiers before the UK Nationals, and got to watch a very tense final for that. Looking forward to playing some janky fun decks now though. ...

Re: Storium?

I got in on the ground floor in Storium, and then course commitments dragged down my ability to write much, so I retired from most of my games. I think quite a lot of people got really excited, signed up to a bunch of games and were unable to write enough to keep up. Still really excited by the pote...

Re: Books you're reading now

I bought Neil Gaiman's latest yesterday and I'm already most of the way through it, I won't start discussing particular aspects of it, I'll just say that I really like it. Oh, I bought that but haven't started it yet, because I also bought all of The Sandman, and have been reading that. Ocean at th...

Re: Fourth Annual Secret Santa! (SIGN UPS CLOSED)

So yeah my gift arrived New Years Eve, but I've been busy, so here are pics! http://i42.tinypic.com/2uo5761.jpg http://i43.tinypic.com/2ihpg5h.jpg A Canada scarf, and a super cool Scarecrow figure, currently lurking on my bookshelves plotting nefarious deeds. Also a nice Christmas card (not pictured...

Re: BASTARD mafia Day Two

I just remembered that I haven't commented on this game. I was pretty confused, even though I knew that there weren't mafia! Now this is an interesting turn of events. One moment we're about to lynch Thrash, the next we have two claimed town aligned groups. Maybe some of them are lying, as Jack poin...

Re: BASTARD mafia Day Three

Yeah, there definitely has to be more going on here. Assuming that the masons and monks are telling the truth (which is obviously by no means guaranteed), I would be interested in the possibility of a third group... I'm not one of them, however.

Re: BASTARD mafia Day Three

Hmmm, this raises a good point. If there are no threats, we can theorise that there are no mafia? In which case it's very hard to pick out scummy behaviour to lynch someone. Perhaps this has moved into a cult/recruitment type deal to stop the game stalling at this point? Any of our masons/monks want...

Now this is an interesting turn of events. One moment we're about to lynch Thrash, the next we have two claimed town aligned groups. Maybe some of them are lying, as Jack points out, it would be a dynamite mafia move. Also, the choice of Memo would be a good one if Aeric is lying, as that way there'...

Re: BASTARD mafia Day Two

I am inclined to believe Tapir. Preventing the death of a known townie is a good move this early on, and hiding the identity of the third member prevents making them a target for a night kill. Masons generally don't have any abilities other than to talk to each other at night, but in this game, who ...

Hmmm... Memo makes an interesting target. It's a shame about Ptang, but to be honest vigilante's tend to work against the town more often than not so it probably could have been worse.

Interesting... What Intel do you think we can really get at this point?
