Re: Take Our Kids to Work Day, Take this kid to Work
The forum probably isn't the best way to contact the crew at short notice. You might want to try Twitter or send an email to info at loadingreadyrun dot com. I think that is the general email address they use.

Re: LRR is starting to lose me
2stepz is possibly referring to the fact that recent episodes of Feed Dump have been a bit later on Friday than previously was the case. I can't recall any weeks that have been missed altogether though.

Re: Codes of Conduct
Irish person here, from well south of the border. I've never heard it used myself, though maybe it comes up in the border counties and no doubt still comes up in Northern Ireland. I was aware it was derogatory, but wasn't actually sure which demographic it was aimed at. I think it is strange for som...

Re: Watch&Play vid
The highlight is here. It was broadcast on April 2nd, so the video has just dropped off the twitch archive page.
The way Graham's face just shuts down when the music starts is amazing.

Re: (The) Witness Me! Us! LRR! (No spoilers here)
I picked it up on PS4 on launch day. I think I'm pretty far through it, but I haven't checked my actual puzzle count on the save file. I've really enjoyed the game, but I find it isn't the best at conveying some of the puzzle mechanics. I was stuck for a while learning the tetris blocks. I also stil...

Looks good, hopefully I'll have a chance to jump on. Your planet registry link is broken though.

Re: Venting Thread Delta - Now With Easy to Follow Rules
Speaking as a programmer/web design guy, that is almost certainly someone trying to save time copy-pasting the code and forgetting to change the url. Whatever might have caused it, the video is now showing properly for me.

Re: The House of Stark
Kapol, you can play the game as a hollow, meaning you get to see the messages and other passive interactions without risking invasion. However, if you want to be able to summon help or kindle bonfires you need to be human and open yourself up to invaders. Arakasi, the MMO analogy isn't great since t...

Re: The House of Stark
I started playing Dark Souls a couple of weeks ago after watching Graham's first stream on it. Thanks Graham for a great introduction to the game and to LambMower for the mod. The "Goat There" and "Everything Is Fine" messages make everything better. Lysander: According to Bandai...

Re: General LRL Stream Feedback
There is a Spectator mode (Link) in the latest development snapshot which allows you to noclip around or take a player's perspective and ride along with them. You could have the machine sending the stream set to Spectate and occasionally just teleport it to another player every so often. There's als...

Re: General LRL Stream Feedback
I could not find any link to http://loadingreadyrun.com/live from the http://loadingreadyrun.com page. the only link to it I've found is on the twitch page. Uh... Why is everyone having trouble seeing the "Click here to see the LoadingReadyLive Broadcast Schedule!" banner between the rota...

They don't want one. What I can promise is that we will continue to be honest with you. There’s no bullshit, no PR, this is just Jerry and I and we’re doing the best we can. Hopefully we will keep getting better. That was in Mike's news post about the PAX13 Q&A panel where he mentioned the Dickw...

Re: PAX to implement "Diversity Lounges"
I don't remember seeing much patient effort. I remember a lot of people who had internalised the idea of gender and sex separation expecting instant acceptance of those ideas from a guy who looked to me like he had never considered them before. Can you elaborate on "his history of insensitivity...

Re: PAX to implement "Diversity Lounges"
Kree, I did. Having characters with prejudices is okay, having groups which are just pastiches is not. Nazi's trying to kill Jewish people isn't a pastiche or a stereotype, it's history, but if every Jewish character in Schindler's List was just a Jewish stereotype, rather than a believable characte...

Re: PAX to implement "Diversity Lounges"
Poor phrasing on my part. What I meant was that I don't think it's reasonable for a creator to defend against criticism by saying "chill out, it's just a game". Prejudice is not an unreasonable thing to include in your game's setting, but if someone asks why every black person is actually ...

Re: Desolation of Smaug
I like that some elves got murdered by the orcs during the barrel scene. It helps point out that Legolas and Tauriel are exceptional, which I'm fine with. And I think that the spider fight and particularly the barrel escape does the same for the dwarves. They're highly coordinated and effective even...

Re: PAX to implement "Diversity Lounges"
Lord Hosk, the implication seems to be that with people like Mike at the helm PAX can't help but reflect his views (putting aside discussion of what his views are for the minute) but I can only recall two concrete criticisms directly concerning PAX, rather than PAX/PA/Mike. The first was an Enforcer...
