Re: Installation Anxiety 2010
Yeah, I'm with graham 100%. I can totally not get on board with anyone saying the line deliveries or acting was better in the original. This version was superior in every conceivable way, acting included, and nothing about the making of this video was phoned in. Maybe it's just because I saw it at ...

Re: The "Change Tim's Mind About Blade Runner" Thread
I think it's mostly that Tim is numb to all the effects and camera work, because so many movies have copied the style. At the time, dark and depressing images of the future were almost unheard of. There is some truth in that. It was an early dystopia, and it definitely did a good job of making the ...

Re: The "Change Tim's Mind About Blade Runner" Thread
Oh gosh. If this topic doesn't get at least as long as the Ask LRR thread, I'll be shocked. It's strange, I've never actually considered not thinking it was a good movie. I always assumed the things I didn't like were just dumb 1970's things. You're making me question my belief system! I'm going to ...

I see someone already beat me to it, but I'll say it anyways: the only thing that could have made wootstock more awesome is more of you! I really loved the Installation Anxiety remake though. I loved the original, but I thought the new one showed how even more awesome you guys are now.

I lol'd.
That bear hat definitely made me think of the ghoul mask from Tenpenny Tower. Too bad they didn't have one of those in FO3. I hate it when those damn bears sneak up on me.

Personally, I liked the subtle way of bringing Tim into the Runners. I'm hoping that's actually how it happened.

You mean Coke or Pepsi... right? (To me, "soda" is fizzy water and "pop" is what poprocks do) Only if you want to be picky. I go with soda or pop depending on my mood. I guess I'm a native pop speaker myself, but those Californians keep invading my fair state and spreading their...

Anyone else think the Huntsman is a little bit too overpowered? I seem to be getting one-hit killed as a pyro with that thing, even if it's on the body. What's the drawbacks to it? I've not used the thing myself to really know if the penalties outweigh how powerful it is. I haven't used it myself, ...

I've spent my life in the U.S. Pacific Northwest and the only real difference with BC speech is a more rounded "O" sound to words like "sorry" and "process." The Southwest can be a little different, but most of the states and provinces west of the Plains are pretty simi...

Nah, they can stop an ubered sniper or engineer. Just...no Properly placed, yes. The knockback on sentry fire is so ridiculous that if you're running straight at it you may not be able to get anywhere near the thing no matter how invincible you are. This is one of the many reasons that the top of t...

As you can see, I have three kritzkriegs. Now I realize that while I have three kritzkriegs, some of you out there may actually have a kritzkrieg of your own and be thoroughly enjoying your pickup. TF2 is pretty much my FPS. I'm a Soldier whore, but that's partially because there's usually a Soldier deficiency. I have no idea why. Most people see soldiers as kind of bland. I guess on the surface it is, but the things you can do with experience are pretty kickass. Now sniper... That's a bland ...

I always thought direct censorship was stupid, especially when some songs <cough>Stronger</cough> where half the words are censored.
That said, I'm not sure crap should permeate the airwaves where just anyone can accidentally listen in.
