Re: How old is Ash Ketchum?
ya know... It's highly amusing and embarassing to admit this... But I just finished the Indego league (season 1) and Ash clearly went through one year of his life over what was basically 2 years of show-time... The tournaments seem to have a very specific logic about them (after Indego at least, whe...

Re: The New Mack Mouse
Just got one with my new iMac, and I have to say, I'm loving it. The track pad has a bit of a "getting used to it" curve, but gestures, with momentum, totally rock. It makes up for the keyboard not having a page button

Re: little bird
see if there's a vet in the area that specializes in semi-domestic animals/ wild animal rescue/care. If not, most are capable of at least figuring out what's wrong with most birds if not curing them. Going to cost a little bit of money, but shouldn't be too terrible and once it's resolved it'll prob...

Re: Avatar:The Last Filmmaker OR Completely Avatarded
cause you cant find it anywhere in 2d? I hope it does lack luster so that this doesn't become common practice in my favorite type of movie - cause I'd be able to see fewer and fewer in theaters... I hope it's brief explosion into the world is as short lived as possible. (3d that is...and James Camer...

Re: Avatar:The Last Filmmaker OR Completely Avatarded
new 3d tech IS better for people with use of both eyes... however because of the way they display the frames (linearly, polarized) your eyes are seeing two different images in sequence... your head is much better at handling linear information instead of smoothing simultaneous lies (which is what 3d...

i hope for my own sake this doesn't take off. DEAR GOD i hope it fails. Half Blind. These movies, the new type of 3d, give me a pounding headache. :( i know 2d will be available. But wow. Also - the movie reads like every shallow political point Cameron wanted to make for the last decade or so....no...

double / triple posting always struck me as lazy, and by extension disrespectful. If you can't take the effort to edit/fix problems with your first post and present it in the best way possible... was your point worthy of making/being considered in the first place? Much less being that much more visu...

http://chud.com/articles/articles/21684 ... Page1.html Let's go over that again: Edward fucks Bella into unconsciousness. This alone should have you running to Fandango to pre-order your tickets, but it only gets better. Oh wait, I missed something. Edward is completely freaked out about the baby, f...

Re: The Desert Bus Roundup
does Ebay or any other reputable auction site have the option for short term auctions? Announce an auction's going live and have it run for an hour. i know ebay at least lets you direct proceeds directly to charities and still lets you manage the auction. Backing out on an auction site would be cons...

to the DB crew: Last year, when Penny Arcade linked to the concept of Desert Bus I was amused, and very interested. What I was in store for was almost 5 days of massive massive entertainment. These were people, strangers, doing insane absurd things for hours on end to make just a handful of dollars ...

Russel T Davis wrote it right? Man it's going to be good to get a writer at the head of the show that isn't going to be afraid to move the doctor's character forward. We had this EXACT debate(only this time with MORE MISERY at the end!!!!) as the season finally every few years so far... "I can'...

Re: Secret copyright treaty leaks. It's bad. Very bad.
if it's the "whole world" adopting the US system... which i doubt... it doesn't seem that bad. US Copyright laws are a bit...aggressive, but nothing compared to some EU nations. However, I think the whole thing is bogus. The world's copyright laws are conflicted and scattered for a reason....
