Re: LRR Minecraft Server
Looks like my bases were out of the blast radius. If anyone's trying to rebuild, feel free to take what you need from my stock. I have a pretty good supply of most mining resources.

Re: LRR Minecraft Server
I was also thinking of flattening the area inside the boundaries to make further construction of spawn buildings easier, I've mostly been holding off just in case someone gets annoyed at me for doing so :? If we do plan on doing a fancy wall where the cobble line is now, can we leave this outcroppi...

Re: LRR Minecraft Server
As a temporary measure, I've fenced in and lit up the area we've built in so far. It's just a basic cobblestone fence, so it's easy to knock down as we expand, but hopefully it'll prevent creeper griefing for now.
EDIT: The servers down again.

Re: LRR Minecraft Server
How do people feel about building a second wall around the spawn area, to enclose all the new structures? How big do you think we should go?

Well that's not troubling at all. Hopefully they can fix it.

Re: LRR Minecraft Server
I've built a workshop at spawn on the FTB server. Right now it has a cobble works (free stone, cobble, sand, and glass), power (120 RF/t), and a basic SAG mill and alloy smelter. I'd like to get a TCon setup built in the right side of the lower floor, and we could probably use some more machines on ...

Re: Magnum Rewatch 23 - Tropical Madness
Roy Dotrice is probably best known right now for being the narrator of the Game of Thrones Song of Ice and Fire series audio books, in which he does different voices for the series' numerous characters. They're very well done, and make for some great listening. Yeah, I was going to say, Roy Dotrice...

Kathleen said early on that she couldn't imagine dictating a novel. Terry Pratchett had to dictate his later novels, either to his assistant or to speech recognition software on his computer. Alzheimer's, man.

Re: Crossing the Streams
Monaco could be a really good Crossing the Streams game. It's sort of like Gauntlet, only instead of "Kill All the Mans" it's "Steal All the Things"; players' choice whether to go a stealth route or do a smash-and-grab (or a little of both).

Re: Magnum Rewatch Ep10 - The Curse of the King Kamehameha C
Wow, I remember that "Tropical Heat Wave" song you played being sung by Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye as part of the montage at the beginning of "White Christmas" . I think it gets reused later in the movie as background music, too, as that movie seems to reuse every track at least ...

Re: Crossing the Streams
A suggestion: If people made a habit of sitting in player, so player one was sitting on the far left of the screen (your right) and player four was on the far right, it'd be much easier for viewers joining the stream late to figure out who is playing as who.

Re: LRR Minecraft Server
I would fall into the category "Not currently active on LRRCraft, but would be interested in a modded server" category. (I don't play vanilla that much.) I'm currently playing single player, but wouldn't mind playing online. I could probably chip in $5/month.

Re: Video Games with Video James
If you're doing more FTB this week, a few ideas: Build a sawmill. It converts one log into 6 planks, instead of 4. Waste less time chopping trees. Also, you'll note that six planks burn for longer in a furnace then one charcoal (6*15s=90s, vs. 80s), so if you're going for a wood powered base, this i...

I don't see a thread for Crossing the Streams; I was going to suggest that Monaco is great in a group. It supports both local or online four-man co-op.
