I must say I don't agree with The Martini about the Tuggernuts book covers. They look exactly like children’s book cover from the old times to me, complete without any of the lrr crew in caricature.

Re: Congratulations Graham and Kathleen!
These are great news and I wish Graham and Kathleen all the happiness. I have a slightly more tricky note to my wellwishes, if you see this message G&K. I was appalled to find out that not all expecting couples are told about toxoplasmosis, and have very strong personal reasons for talking about...

I also find cringe situations not to be entertaining in any way whatever. In fact they are often actually painful to me, to the point where I cannot sit through an episode of cringe-heavy comedy (Klovn, The Office, etc.) in one sitting. I wonder how common this trait is.

Oh, damn! In my defense: The first thing goggle throws at me is TripAdvisor lying to the world that it's 110 volts.
So the blender is even more powerful than I thought.

Re: KickStarter Smoothie
Wait,... 7 amps *110 Volts = 770 Watts > 1 horsepower. ... 25 amps *110 Volts = 2750 Watts > 3.5 horses. That's a powerful blender. Also. The following is a train of thought I went on during the Video. There's no such thing as "Paul.exe" as such a program (I don't want to use the word 'exe...

I really liked Beej's portrayal of a shell-shock victim. Also, it's good to know that disturbances in the space-time continuum and/or the notion of causality only cause minor earthquakes.

I feel I must take issue with something Paul said there. We (well, I) didn't enjoy Beyond: Two Souls when you were frustrated by it. The first session in particular wasn't fun at all. It wasn't untill you embraced and started to take the piss out of the game's many flaws that the stream became fun.

I have a question. In one scene Alex identifies Paul as a troll and "bans" him. In the next scene where they interact, Alex receives a vessel full of liquid and the order "put this inside you!". Is that natural interaction with trolls?

Re: GPLP next game thread
I agree with Ranakel, Recettear could be quite fun. Also, I would like to suggest Long Live The Queen. It's a visual novel-JRPG where you play a queen in waiting and you must prepare for your reign by learning about intrigue, court manners, swordplay, etc. while fending off assassins. I think it it'...
