As much as I love wotc and all but...that was kinda dickish. Duels is infuriatingly random and/or strange as it is. But setting these guys, who had no idea what to expect up against human Archenemies who know EXACTLY what they were doing? Not too cool.

Re: The Gigantor - Fanboy Edition
Speaking from a strictly culinary point of view they are. And that's all that matters in this context, right?
Anyway I was thinking about maybe building a meat artichoke, though I'm still working out the specific ingredients. (sneak peak: garlic will be involved )

Re: The Gigantor - Fanboy Edition
I know and I appreciate the advice but I'm not looking to replace the meat, I'm looking to rebuild a vegetable using various types of meat.

I'd love to be a part of that.
I'm currently researching several vegetables to be reproduced a la meatshroom. We'll see how that goes.

Re: The Gigantor - Fanboy Edition
That's a nice one, though I'd probably have to use a good bit of bbq sauce to fight the bread. Still looking delicious! As for the, rather curious, bacon project. The expected weight loss in grease post-cooking would be aprox. 25%, though it really depends on the quality of your bacon. Some meat is ...

Re: The Gigantor - Fanboy Edition
That's actually a turkish pita bread. Much more sturdy and just the right size, too. I also added some shredded bacon to the patty since we didn't get any bison and I wanted at least some other meat in there. Obvious choice is obvious.

I would have had little trouble eating it myself. But real men share among their equal.

The Gigantor - Fanboy Edition
Sometimes you just don't know what to do on a weekend. That in and of itself isn't so bad. It's when you remember certain LRR videos and get hungry, that things take a turn for the worse. Or the better. I'll let you be the judge of that. Here's the happy crowd: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v334...

Wrong continent, dude. But a good spin. Wikipedia assures me that there are antelope in Asia, which is where tigers live. You're probably thinking of cantaloupe, which are indigenous to Europe and North America and therefore don't cross paths with hungry baby tigers. Antelope, cantaloupe, it's a co...

Well, to be fair, they are all gaming nerds which means they have been exposed to largely the same amount of weirdness that formed us all.
If it makes you feel better, I had a friend complain about the fecal fun in this vid.
Top writing though, no doubt about that.

This one is amazing. The punchline was very thight and on the mark, after a split second we burst out laughing. Great work and delivery on all parts. A nice stinger as well. After the 'not lol enough' comments on the last vid, this should have hit the spot for everybody who complained there. My hat'...

After seeing it several times over with the people I've shown it to, that sketch grew on me even more. It really is a great piece of work, especially on Graham's part.
P.S: It's the glasses.

Re: Starcraft II-ness is upon us And IDs
I call bullshit on losing a game because you don't have any buildings left. Why wouldn't my massive fleet, which is absolutely obliterating everything on the map, count towards victory? Losing to a zerg player because he has one creep tumor left is just infuriating.

I was so hoping I wouldn't have to see this again. Though strangely enough, you made it bareable. I do feel like the really horrible games, as in, not even so bad it's funny, do pull you guys down with them.
Might be an air of "bleh" about those games in general.

As a long time fighting game fan I was immediately in love with this one!
It was well paced and written, never trying too hard to stay on topic and you really got a good balance between realism and sketch flavor.
Oh yeah and it was pretty damn funny, too!

It's not just infantry, it's D-Day. So I'm afraid you might have to do better than that.
