Re: The Ongoing "ZOMG CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS GAME" Geek-Out Thread
Starcraft 2. I literally just picked up the original first one and have been getting too into it. Now I can't wait for the second.

Re: Olympic Beard Growing
That video would win comedy gold at the olympics. I loved the ending so much I choked on my drink laughing. The instant beard for Matt, the reference to the women's beard growing competition, and the final line where he thanks his "totally non-fake" beard are the three best jokes, and all ...

LRR at the Olympics
Is anyone from the LRR crew *wanting* to go to the 2010 olympics? Just wondering if anyone on the crew is excited that the olympics is almost kinda being held on their doorstep. I for one am stoked for the olympics.

Re: LRR on PATV
Man, that is so wicked sweet to see and hear about LRR is other stuff. Like literally 10 minutes before I watched this, I was reading the 200th issue of Game Informer which has an interview with Penn Jillette and he briefly talks about his contribution to gaming and says that he is proud to have mad...

Re: THE NEW ASK LRR QUESTION THREAD!
Who can do the craziest accent? Can they perform it now? And if it's Graham with his crazy Jamaican dialect, can it be someone else because I've already heard it.

Re: LRR Literature
Ive also just finished with the second book in the Starfist series and theres only one thing I can say, and I apologize to any fans of this series. It is the epitome of generic sci-fi novels. It uses all the stereotypes and generic ideas to craft its story and I for one think it works. Although I th...

Re: LRR Literature
If you can stand something enterly not sci-fi or fantasy, please try Jonathan Safran Foers novels Everything is Illuminated and Extremely Loud and Unbelievably Close , they are funny, readable, inventive and beautiful. I saw Everything is Illuminated as a movie because it has Elijah Wood and the le...

Stand Up by The Prodigy. It's in the Kickass premiere trailer and I listen to it and play Batman: Arkham Asylum all day just beating up goons. It's like actually putting on a costume and beating up insane people!

To follow the spirit, Merry Christmas! Though, as a Jew I will be participating in the classic Jewish tradition of going to see a movie on Christmas while everyone else is preoccupied.

LRR Literature
So I was listening to the end of the Lost LRRcast and I loved how into it everbody got when they were talking about anime and Terry Pratchett. Now before I get any further I am aware that there might be another topic like this already but five pages in I can't find it, so I thought I would post this...

Jer the Dungeon Master (vague idea)
The Dungeon Master. After listening to the podcasts, watching cH, and in general getting a sense of Jer as a DM, I find that it is always funny to listen to someone describe the gruesome death that Jer concocted for their character. From what I hear, Jer runs his players through the deathmachine ove...

Re: Killer Instinct
I just have a funny little quip to say about the screen-shot of the video; it looks like Graham is a mid-twenties Voldemort who snuck into the wrong house to kill the Potter family. The blade looks like a wand is really what I'm getting at.

Re: You're Kidding
My original idea that it was a self referential convincing plot works on two levels. For reference, it is the idea that Graham's character convinced the other three that he was able to convince the other three of his ability to convince the other three (weirdest fucking sentence of my life). (hencef...

Re: You're Kidding
Wait, so is the joke that no one knows what the hell they are talking about or do they reveal anything at the end. (SPOILER?) is the joke that he actually convinced all three of them that he could convince all three of them to believe him? that would be funny, but i dont get why jer got paid at the ...

Ice Hockey.
I know this might be stereotyping, since LRR is Canadian based, and I am also unable (see: too lazy) to actually research any of the cast's hobbies and activities (see: stalking), but I was wondering who in the cast plays any hockey. Because hockey is seen as barely above driving around in a circle ...
