Re: Thinking back to simpler times...

Can't say I was ever an active member of the community, but I still pop in here every once in a while to drink from the bitter sweet chalice of nostalgia. ;) It's been a long time since I first heard of LRR back in '07, sitting in my high school cafeteria listening to my friend giving an enthusiasti...

Sorry I need to rage a bit here Finland is NOT part of Scandinavia http://satwcomic.com/how-the-north-works It was a good video for the rest of it I'm late, but I just wanted to confirm: Associating Finland with Scandinavia is quite insulting... to the scandinavians, I mean. I know, it maybe hard t...

Steed gives you extra 100 weight capacity and removes all the slowing effects caused by armour. It's by far the best starsign I've found.

I've played for about 80 hours so far and I love this game to bits! I especially like how smithing skill is now actual smithing rather than carrying dozens of hammers around to fix my cardboard equipment after every single clash. I'm playing a redguard specialicing in one-handed swords in honor of m...

And there were nobody to give me odd looks or to tell me that slides are only for kids!

I never wanted to grow up. =\

Haven't really been reading much scifi recently myself, but let's see... Isaac Asimov's works should be mentioned, namely the Foundation series . I'm sure you're familiar with his some of his books already though. Bruce Sterling's Schismatrix is one of my scifi favovites. In it the rest of the Solar...

PROGRAM_IX, is that keyring of yours a kubotan? It certainly looks like one. Anyway. Here's what I usually haul around with me. Left pocket : Phone, mp3-player. Lower left pocket : Tissues, paper trash. Right pocket : Wallet, keys. Lower right pocket (Usually empty): DS, soda bottles, small books an...

FallenMaster642, I've been lurking here for... some time now, I think. You should know that of all the online communities I've seen, this is the least hostile toward newcomers. My biggest challenge was the conscription. Playing war for half of the year with men I had almost nothing in common with. But then again, I think I learned a lot about myself and other people during those months, so perhaps atleast some of it was time well wasted. Not that I even have a right to com...

I actually can't help but feel little amused every time this happens. I know, I know... Snow really messes things up if it's not common, but it's just funny to think that what would be an average day in the northern Europe is a frozen hell in the South. Now go and pick up a shovel. That snow ain't g...

Finished the NCR ending the other day... It was so abysmal and half assed that it made the original ending of Fallout 3 look good. Atleast that one had Liberty Prime along with something you could call a message. This just looked like a live-fire exercise in a shanty town... and I was the disappoint...

KotoR and Jade Empire are the easiest to approach, I think. Aside from the battle systems, the gameplay is pretty similiar in both. Mass Effect is a nice action packed space opera, though it's not what I'd recommend if you're looking for a complicated roleplaying experience. Sure, there's a lot of i...
