Re: Pokémon X and Y
Not sure if you ever found the answer, but from what I've read, you can restart your game and your Pokemon will be safe on Bank. However, your items will not. So if you have Blazikenite, you'll have to trade it to someone if you want it back. Still, I don't really like the idea of doing that because...

It was the $5 in the Flash Sale as well. I know this because I was upset when I learned I missed it.

Re: Pokémon X and Y
Does anybody here have a Shuckle with Contrary? I don't know if I have anything worth trading right now, but I'm sure we could make something work.

Re: The Steam/digital distribution trading/give away thread.
I was waiting for the bundle to end, but since it has, I have some WB games I don't plan on redeeming if anyone wants them.
I've already redeemed Scribblenauts, LOTR War in the North, and the Origins DLC, but PM if you want one of the other items.

Re: The General Chat thread
As much as I would like monetizing my channel, it just wouldn't feel right. Besides the fact that I used a song under copyright, I blatantly ripped off Alex's idea, so earning money from that would feel wrong. Honestly, there's nothing on my channel I feel deserves money, even the stuff I own comple...

Re: The General Chat thread
So, on a whim, I was looking at my video page on Youtube. I sometimes look at the views to see what's up. Somehow, both of the "Fear of Matt" videos I posted had a huge spike in views. In confusion, I check my analytics page. Between Oct. 14 and Oct. 21, the short version of "Fear of ...

Re: Pokémon X and Y
Yeah, egg moves can be a pain. I wanted to get a Rhyhorn with Ice Fang, but the only Pokemon I had with that move was Gyrados. The first matching egg group to Gyrados and Rhyhorn I found was Wailmer, so I spent about 30 minutes trying to get and hatch an egg. Turns out Wailmer can't learn Ice Fang, ...

Re: Pokémon X and Y
Yeah, I don't mess with MMOs, so this is still pretty foreign to me. I mostly considered it complex because there are things I really can't do right now, like teaching my Absol Superpower. Also, yeah, this nature and IV stuff isn't the most fun thing. I've pretty much ignored IVs because that's too ...

@Merrymaker: Oh wow, this is complex. I like their recommendations, though, so I'll see if I can make anything work. Thanks. @Lurkon: Well, your safari did have some stuff I didn't have (while mine, not so much), so I'd call that fair. I just really like Hawlucha. Oh, also, if anybody has a Shuckle ...

Re: Pokémon X and Y
There was a reason I hadn't posted my FC here yet but I can't seem to recall what it was. Ah well.
FC: 4055-3883-7257
Also, does anyone have advice for EV training a Vulpix, Absol, or Mareep? I'm not really into the competitive scene, but a friend wants to try out the multi battles.

I whipped up a logo out of boredom.
I'd be willing to join a crew, but I haven't really delved into online yet.

Re: The Loading Ready Run Kickstarter
Having seen other projects do it, I think LRR needs to bump the stretch goals up the page a bit, if not all the way. Takes a smidge too long to get all the way down the page to see what they are, and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only person who thinks that.

To all skeptical:
It's worth it.

P.S. Yes, Paul, in the game's lore, memories of others are sold. I won't say more than that.

I don't watch anime on the regular, so I have no comparison, really, but I enjoy the series enough to keep watching.
The trailers made me think I'd hate it, so that's a step up, I guess.

Re: Remember Me?
I played it over the summer. I was really excited for it before it came out, but the reviews prevented me from getting it right away. I caved after it dropped to $40, and I must say, it was worth it. It does have some moments where I totally just wanted to stop. There were times where I'd totally be...

Re: Free Origin game keys
My first experience with Origin was yesterday and it was shockingly bad. But considering I paid £3 for a bunch of games I didn't have, I think I can just about endure waiting 20 minutes for a code to register. Well, that's cuz they were getting hammered by hits and probably new users. Reminds me of...

I agree with Kobra, empath, Jack, and you as well. This gen is the first time I'd ever be in a position to buy a game console at launch, but I decided against it (and I just bought a PC instead). Also, I can see how my first post was kind of dickish. I don't take back anything, but I could have word...

What about friends? If someone's friends are all getting an Xbone, I'm sure that would heavily influence their preference. And I never said they should only save until the could afford the console. They should be saving until they can COMFORTABLY buy the console. Also, this is a console we're talkin...

Re: The New Timezones
And as for daylight savings time: it might not actually be too useful in our current economy. Since everyone is staying up 'till about 2 AM on average... it might actually be costing us more energy in total. Has there ever been any serious research done into that? It might be a thing of the past re...
