Re: IDDQDerp

Question for Alex about the settings you changed to make Stalker:CS stop crashing so much? I don't think it crashed at all this last stream, and that's my biggest problems with playing any Stalker game.

Thanks for any help!

Re: LRRcast - Top Five Sketches

Heyoooo LRR crew, can you all list your favorites here + links to the Youtube vids so we can rewatch them in sync with the LRRcast? I understand some got lost with Blip, but that also means it's a great time to pull them out and upload them to YT :D

Thanks and great LRRcast! I really enjoyed it.

Re: The House of Stark

Hey, nostalgia suggestion. The mod makers Creative Caustic have finally released their level overhaul of Deus Ex, with official permission from Squix AND free on Steam for Deus Ex GOTY! I played the first couple of levels back in early days and it was a very fun experience to do the same exact story...

Re: LRRcast - Summer Anime Recap

<snip> I have seen Moribito. Really enjoyed that series when it came out. Netflix has a decent selection of anime so I'm glad that one has also made it to their list. Psycho-Pass I've heard mentioned every now and then. I'll add it to my list of things to check out. Thanks for the recommendations! ...

Re: LRRcast - Summer Anime Recap

You guys mentioned a couple of shows which are getting into my area of interest, so I thought I'd toss in a couple of shows you might find enjoyable. I really only like shows with adult-level stories, and way prefer those with a good setting that gets explored. I also love me some sci fi, so I'd lik...

Re: A Swiftly Tilting Cameron

Just wanted to put in a sympathy vote for the marathon Xcom (later Bloodborne and Dark Souls) stream. I salute your patience sir! I'd have been uninstalling at some of those RNG results. Not to mention the run of point-blank misses on the Seekers. If you calc the hit probabilities vs the results, at...

Re Spud, I...yi yi yi yi. Wow. and OW. Inappropriate, offsides, and right straight out there. Now we know why some groups think censorship is a good thing. Nice job, Spud dev dude. I will give it this - as Alex notes, it does have an early checkpointing system, and also, that was a pretty good villa...

Re: LRRcast Guilty Pleasures Part 1

Listening to podcasts from groups who make comedy videos for the Internet.
Watching comedy videos and gaming streams from those same groups.

A few other things, but those are the ones it's hardest to admit to the general public when they ask "what do you do for fun?".

Re: A Swiftly Tilting Cameron

Streamers and audience... But the audience gets to choose to participate in the music or not. Particularly with Cam's stream, I think he's playing the music for him, not his audience, necessarily, so if it keeps him happy, allows the audience to hear it if they want, and doesn't get the stream mute...

Re: A Swiftly Tilting Cameron

There's also the plug.dj option that Kathleen has previously used. If you route it separately to your headphones, then everyone can listen to the same song together, while it doesn't go to the stream. By everyone, do you mean the streamers, or the audience? I am ambivalent about sharing the musical...

Re: A Swiftly Tilting Cameron

Just wanted to mention something about the copyrighted music - instead of playing it through a channel where it can be heard on the stream, why not just route it to your headphones? Since you're usually doing Internet radio, you can just show the source site and selection on the stream and anyone wh...

Welcome to the first episode of Assbusters, starting Graham, Kathleen, and Paul! Today they will try to prove or disprove whether you really can wreck your sh8 making internet comedy videos.

First up, the infamous skateboard nunchuck jousting scene! Take it away, Graham!

Re: A Swiftly Tilting Cameron

Wait, what? I know I missed the first hour of the bonus stream, but it seemed like they recovered from the disconnect(?) just fine and carried on, fell prey to an annoyingly designed 'trap' that provoked a long backtrack and waste of limited time, but still managed to get up to the second boss that...

Dear Mr. Lauder, Re your stream of Dark Souls on November 27th, I enjoyed it very much, up to the point where Bozocorp's plan to grope your game experience with their slimy software tentacles resulted in the destruction of said game experience for yourself and all of your viewers. At least they allow modding. That is a big ol' ray of sunshiny hope. A new skin would do wonders. I too noticed how "samey" the colors all are.

Re: A Swiftly Tilting Cameron

Cam's reaction to SMBA was pretty much mine to Deus Ex: HR. So much hopes that the yesteryear's excellent but not-quite-empowered-enough-by-technology visions and gameplay would be launched to stratospheric heights of awesome by today's technology. And then so much "...wait, wut have you done t...

On another note, did anyone else find sheer hardcore factor of YouTestament to be somewhat awesome? Getting straight-up "Give Us Barabbas"'d right off, getting your hand cut off as punishment, and dying in the street in the first 5 minutes of gameplay? And people think Eve Online or Dark S...

Zoo Race was the best W+P ever. I'm re-cracking up at the gifs now. My favorite (besides "Race me Hannah!") was the first Supercat launch, when it just opened its mouth in midair and went "raarr raar raaaarr". So..unbelievably...bad...can't..stop..laughing..help me please help me...

Welp, I can't be catching live streams all the time. I have a job n'stuff. So I am mostly in catchup mode, and there's no point in watching if there's no audio.

Can anyone from the crew let us know what plans might be in place to help with us catch-uppers?

Re: General LRL Stream Feedback

Well, the crew can do headphones for music, and that will at least keep the audio live. It thoroughly sucks that you guys can't, oh I don't know, hook up the titles of the music into the stream and get referrals for sales. 'Cause you are effectively advertising it when you stream. But I guess inclus...

I didn't see a Stalker COP-Misery thread over in general games discussion, so I guess I'll ask here - does anyone know what mod is being used to fix the grass? I cranked up COP-Misery and my god the game looks horrible with the grass as it is.
