Re: General LRL Stream Feedback
d3fr0st5 sums up one my biggest problems with the new schedule quite well. I agree there are downsides to the consistent long-game playthroughs, and I wonder if the other suggestion of a 'Newsday Tewsday' but for continuing games would work out. I'm guessing that there hasn't been that much desire f...

Re: General LRL Stream Feedback
So now the new streaming schedule is fully embedded, I thought I would share my thoughts, because I can't help myself. The Good: - Production quality seems to be way up. Less technical issues, everything sounds and looks cripser and cleaner, replays have run better than they were. Everything feels l...

I dunno, personally I like to watch games like Secret Hitler/Werewolf/Mafia m knowing who the key players are. Maybe it could be alternated?

Re: The General Magic: The Gathering Thread
I think they're open the last Friday, so hopefully some word can be gotten out there. Most of our community and group knows, it's just the problem now is finding a venue that's affordable. A lot of our players are students who were really helped out by the fact the FNM was always free to offset trav...

Re: The General Magic: The Gathering Thread
So my LGS has unexpectedly closed today with no warning. I'm really quite depressed about it. I now have no local home for magic, but more important I worry it's going to break apart a really strong and cool community that had developed over the last few months. It's been a safe space and a cool spa...

Re: Watch + Play
Was really intrigued to see Realms of the Haunting crop up. I remember seeing this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?list=PLx6 ... FaMufhSUEw) about it, which makes it sound like quite an interesting game with it's flaws, but couldn't be faulted for ambition in 1996.

If there's a limited format in which I can cast Ulamog, I'll be very happy. I really enjoy slower formats.

GP London: LoadingReady Meetup?
So GP London is next week, and I know in the LRL twitch chat we've been mentioning this is a lot - but there seems to be a healthy chunk of Runners going to the event - are people up for a quick get together, or maybe even an in-person fan draft? (I realise I have started this thread too late for I ...

Great epsiode. I do enjoy these quite a lot.
I'm also very proud of myself for knowing the flag of Niue. I got left alone with an atlas a lot as a kid.

Re: I, Horner
Out of interest as I'm way behind and using the YT replays (The show is too late for me to watch live in the UK), did Ian end up finishing Shenmue, or did he just go back to it later to a point the replays aren't at?

One of the books that really got me into his work and while I have barely read the last few years, this one has stuck into my mind: The City & The City by China Mieville: http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-City-China- ... 033053419X If you're a fan of interesting worlds, fantasy/sci-fi and deep writing...

Full round of applause to that game. I can't remember the last time I was that impressed by a horror game. Hope they revisit it once it's out of Early Access.

Really good epsiode, so good job Kathleen and Graham on the writing. Episode keeps an excellent pace.

Re: The General Magic: The Gathering Thread
Looks sweet, how did the Monastery Mentor work out for you? Is it worth to run him in the mainboard in control shells? I'm also curious if Sorin is good enough to run him with almost no creatures and just Elspeth and Secure the Wastes. Could you post your sideboard too? I'm going to a GP in two wee...
