Re: Sidewalk Slam Ep15 - No Mercy 2016
Regarding 'Beauty and the Man-Beast': Heath and Rhyno made that up on Talking Smack. Heath is, in fact, the man-beast, while Rhyno is the beauty.

Re: What Were Your DB10 Highlights?
Cam and Alex doing 'They're made out of meat'. Wait... this was a thing?! I need to VST binge now! I think it was on Ashton and Jamie's Zeta shift, which if you haven't seen it you probably should catch up on most of it, because it was a really good one. We also had Ben turning into Dr. Mr. Generic...

Re: What Were Your DB10 Highlights?
Ben's various villainous characters during Zeta were among my favourite things this year. Cam and Alex doing 'They're made out of meat'. Goth Tally and Katiee. Jer's pillow/ladder/other stuff mausoleum. Jer actually managing to do well at Mario Kart and not crash the bus. And of course the finale, u...

Re: New Vanilla 1.9 Server!
Just came across a pregenerated mine that generated largely above ground on one of the mesa islands at 5807,2554. Is that a thing added in one of the newest versions, or a world generation goof?

That was in the sequel to Time Ramesssssside, the one with the inexplicably naked alien. Looking at the playlist, it looks like they may have missed uploading that one.

I couldn't stop laughing at Nightmare. The supreme dickery of the Gatekeeper combined with his ham and how frantic everything got toward the end was amazing.

Should Hodor and Cori be listed as crew? They're both heavily involved in making numerous LRR things, so I feel like just 'contributors' doesn't really make sense.

Re: Life is Strange, and There's This Game Too
I understand where you're coming from, and I actually do think it would've been interesting if Max had become corrupted by or overdependent on her powers. I'm completely fine with there being consequences to using one's powers, in fact it'd be a fairly boring if the time travel powers were just a go...

Re: Life is Strange, and There's This Game Too
While I don't mind that the ending is less branching than the rest of the game (because, as you say, making a separate ending for every choice would be very hard), I do think they went too far with that. Take Undertale's approach, for example: there are only three endings, but the neutral ending's p...

Re: Life is Strange, and There's This Game Too
When I first played it on stream, I immediately felt that saving Chloe was the right choice, but I wasn't sure why. Part of that was definitely that the game had in no way established that the tornado was the result of the time travel powers, or that using the time travel to change the past even mor...

Re: So... About that Significant World Event that Happened..
Ugh, now the leader of our fascist party is all over the news being unbearably smug and happy and calling for a referendum to leave as well. For those in the UK: how likely are the stories of Scotland and northern Ireland planning to hold independence referenda so they can stay in the EU as independ...

Re: Pro Wrestling Discussion Thread
Oh wow, that Wyatt return. I was super sceptical when I heard Big E interrupt Bray, thinking New Day vs. Wyatts would be terrible for the Wyatts and undermine their gimmick hard. But between Xavier acting hypnotised, the Wyatts completely no-selling the jokes, and Bray laughing creepily and getting ...

My headkayfabe of the 'No, we don't do local jobbers any more' thing is that the Shining Stars are a pair of tour guides who sneaked into the arena and beat up a couple of randos who also happened to be there while everyone was on break.

Re: Pro Wrestling Discussion Thread
I've seen a lot of people upset at Seth Rollins coming back as a heel. Why is that? I only started watching with Sidewalk Slam, so I haven't seen him before, but he seems like an excellent heel so far. Is it because people would rather Roman be the heel in the feud they're clearly going into?

Re: Sidewalk Slam Ep7 - Payback 2016
The League breaking up was something that happened on Smackdown. They were facing some other team (can't remember who), and all wanted to go first, so got their feathers in a ruffle over that. Then, throughout the match, they kept sort of one-upping each other, trying to get into the ring and not ta...

I enjoyed it. It wasn't the match of AJ's life, but easily one of Roman's best. In general, I'd say this feud has succeeded in getting me to not mind Roman any more.

Secret Hitler was amazing. The way the game slowly escalates into very tense, and then explosive situations is fantastic. Definitely want to see more Secret Hitler on AFK.
And I was completely blindsided by Beej being a fascist.
