I know I'm noob here but really creepy. I guess this kind of follows from the Third wheel dating episode.
Still seems less health than fictional with fictional characters...

Re: The Big Relationship Thread
Jenelmo Did she bring up her relationship status or did you ask about it? Was the comment about them being not boyfriend & girlfriend in the same conversation or was it outside of that context? I would probably be quite hesitant and confused if a girl brought up she had been seeing someone for 7...

Re: The Big Relationship Thread
Metcarfre, I read Fayili's comment more in the spirit of not putting the person on a pedestal. I really don't want to hate or resent her. I've gotten that way when I was in my teens and twenties and I don't want to be that way anymore. Although I was somehow more outgoing and probably better adjuste...

Re: The Big Relationship Thread
Sorry to hear that Ix, if I had any advice for you I would offer it but I'm at a loss for things to make me feel less lonely most of the time. Thanks Fayili, Elomin Sha and Merrymaker_Motalis. I actually had thought I was doing well getting over her but these feelings just don't want to let go. It's...

Re: The Big Relationship Thread
Does any have any tips of techniques for getting over a really bad crush or the broken heart that comes after? I really a crap at getting over feelings and I can't afford these feelings anymore. Its leading to depression and in hindsight this has probably been something that has been a problem for a...

Re: Would you be interested?
I've been to a tavern here in Vancouver that sounds like it has a similar concept.
As others have said it will require good food and service will be the key.

Re: Third Wheel Dating
Great video as usual.
That service has so many terrible implications that I'm sure were cut during brainstorming.
-As said by an actual third wheel.

Re: The Big Relationship Thread
At least you took a chance and won't be plagued by regret? Hope you're taking it well. True, I really didn't want to regret not taking the chance but we work together and I actually feel like an asshole for asking. You know being one of those guys that hits on a girl at work. I even tried to sort a...

Re: The Big Relationship Thread
Well, an update to my little situation. She wasn't interested and said she had a boyfriend that was the reason that she was moving away.
She was very gracious and pleasant.
Back to square one. At least I'm taking it okay.
I'll be quiet now.

Re: Watch + Play
I thank Graham and Alex (and guest Matt and Cameron) for their sacrifice. Zoo Race was What Watch+Play at its finest.
I don't know of any games that can compare but I hope others keep dredging the bottom of the barrel for more like this.

Re: The Big Relationship Thread
Good Luck PlasmaCow, I know that I'm in a similar spot because she gave notice and is moving away at the end of August. For my part I suck at this pretty badly. I asked her if she had any plans tonight and she said she didn't but she was so exhausted she just wanted to sleep early then finished with...

La Taqueria or Peaceful Restaurant at Cambie/Broadway. Pizzeria Ludica has great pizza and board games. Stadium/Chinatown. Could catch a movie after, too. Fable in Kits. Going tomorrow. My wife's fave restaurant. Get the canned tuna and chickpea fritters, thank me later. Thanks for the Tips Metcarf...

Re: The Big Relationship Thread
Sorry to interrupt I need some opinions. Is it bad form to take a first date to a chain restaurant? I'm meaning Earls, Red Robin, Keg something like that or is it a way better showing to find something independent and local? Background is I know this girl from work, I've been interested for a long t...

Re: what are your favourite anime's?
This is actually pretty hard I've been watching Anime for a long time so there are lots of things I've love and lots of things I've hated but for the loves. Lets start with some older stuff: Ghost In the Shell (the first movie original not the 1.5 or whatever) Ghost In the Shell Standalone Complex L...

Re: Corrector's Commentary - Alien
I watched/listened last night. I enjoyed it a lot and hope that you guys keep doing them. I too had some sync issues and I was using the theatrical version on the Blu-ray from the Alien Anthology set. I was playing it on my PC using PowerDVD 9 (boo) with the commentary playing in Windows Media Playe...

Re: Watch + Play
I agree with most people in that Air Control was such that the glitches and commentary kept me laughing so hard I was unable to take a breath. Hat Man was just boring and tedious even with the introduction of Strudel reviews. I guess we need to find a balance between the ways things are bad. I think...

Jamfalcon,
Yes I did take that bus. I figured out who you were when the re-tweet the of the Reaper Podi t-shirt ended surfacing in my Twitter feed.
Thanks for the welcome, it is weird being such an old fart around here.

Re: Introduce yourselves! (A friendly topic for new members)
Greetings to all here on the forums. I am Scott of North Vancouver. I’ve been watching LRR videos probably from ENN on and I have to admit LoadingReadyLive streams are the only play through that I watch and make up much of my after work entertainment these days and I try to catch as much of Desert B...
