I kinda wish this had been Man-Baking ep 1 rather than Phailhaüs 27.

So... I just installed the game... and I can't see a lot of the objects... including the character. Iono, I can see backgrounds and text fine.

I've been trying to think of a name for my shape, so far the only thing I can think of is the USS Bucephalus.

Re: Unskippable: Last Remnant Part 2
While I liked the Last Remnant episodes, I didn't find the Gae Bolg jokes particularly funny, guess maybe they were a bit too obvious or something. However that's my only gripe, this series continuous to be my favorite LRR-related thing.

Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story
My girlfriend got me this game as a birthday present (I had mentioned I was interested in it before), now, I'm not at all a fan of turn based RPGs (I've never played more than a few minute of Final Fantasy); this game however, is soooo much fun. Nintendo keep impressing me in how innovative they are...

Re: The Job
This video was great, it's exactly the type of humor I think LRR does best. I loved the introductions and was so drawn in by them I really wasn't expecting the 'move the couch' punchline, so I guess that worked pefectly. Tim's intro was my favorite, I'm just a sucker for ridiculous backstories. I wo...

I've read the first several pages of that Avatar Scripment, so far I've found it way more interesting than the actual movie.

Re: Avatar:The Last Filmmaker OR Completely Avatarded
Is questioning why the floating mountains are floating that bad? I mean, especially in a scifi film, methinks it's a legitimate question. They try to rationalize the whole flora/fauna band with the ethernet cord thing.. and the creation/application of Avatars was somewhat justified... I found such a...

Re: Avatar:The Last Filmmaker OR Completely Avatarded
When they first said it I thought it was a joke since the character wasn't a scientist or anything. Then they kept using it... yeah... The Core could get away with it, but it seemed out of place in this movie.

Empath, that George Carlin piece is GREAT. And I have to agree that yes, the most common misuse of the term is in situations that are really just coincidence.

Everything is explained??? I'd love an explanation for the floating mountains.

Ooh, Memento was definitely a good one. Also, am I the only one that really really didn't like Minority Report?
Count me on the side of those who enjoyed Rat Race.

As well as dramatic Irony, and also non-literal speech. Maybe someone should put up a link to a dictionary?

Re: What is the best/worst movie of the last ten years?
I gotta agree with Matt on the worst: Miami Vice. Seriously, it's such a waste of a movie. Hated it! Best: VERY tough... I actually like Iron Man more than TDK (sorry, RDJr was just too good). So I might have to go with that. Hmm... this decade wasn't quite as good as last year in film, at least not...

Re: Avatar:The Last Filmmaker OR Completely Avatarded
Like I said before, Hype Backlash. It was billed as a great film. Not just great visuals. And perhaps the story was "fine" but it just feels like they fell back on the visual being so good that they only needed a "fine" story. I'll admit though, if I see this with no prior knowle...

Re: Avatar:The Last Filmmaker OR Completely Avatarded
I honestly can't possibly believe that a good plot would distract from the movie's purpose (the visuals). That just sounds like a cop out, there's no reason why they couldn't have tried to make a great looking movie with a good plot. Is the technology used in Avatar great? Yes. Is Avatar great? Not ...

What version of the DS does everyone have? 'Cause I have really had no problems at all using the microphone for the flute or the fan weapon thingy. I have DSLite.

Re: Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks
I have to agree, I've found blowing softly to be the best way. In fact, when I blow into the mic it's practically a whistle (but still not whistling). Remember, it's a flute, not a tuba.

Re: Avatar:The Last Filmmaker OR Completely Avatarded
Maybe it's hype backlash, but I really didn't like it very much. I'll admit it looked pretty, but it was so effin' predictable. *SPOILERS* We all new from the start he was going to end up fighting for the natives, we all knew Colonel Badass was gonna be the main antagonist, and we knew the second th...
