Re: The depressing depression thread
Dutch guy, here's another link for first post: http://www.buzzfeed.com/hnigatu/comics-that-capture-the-frustrations-of-depression#.hi2q2jxwa Good link, number 18 made me cry. I wrote the beginning of this a long time ago, and believe I posted it in the Share Your Art thread, but later on I sat down...

OOMPH!
A german industrial metal band. They have a rich backlog and their greatest hits have awesome music videos. I don't know that much german but I'm learning a lot by listening and reading the translation of the lyrics.

Re: The depressing depression thread
The world would truly be a sadder place without you. Is there anything you want to talk about? Thank you for your kind words. I was encouraged to talk yesterday so I'm feeling brave enough to share a bit. I've been having bouts of serious thoughts of suicide and if I'd had a surefire way I might've...

Re: The depressing depression thread
I'm so frustrated, I can't keep myself under control. I try to stay healthy, I try to study, I try keeping myself occupied and not succumb to the anxiety.. I try and I try, and I fail and I'm so tired of failing.

Very nice character portraits Deedles, it makes me ponder if I don't feel like drawing something other than swirls and lines. It's been years now..

Re: The Dream Thread
In my dream I was sick with high fever and stuff so I go to the hospital. The nurse at the counter checks my ID to let me in, but apparently I had went to Ukraine nine years ago, gotten accused of being high on drugs, but defended myself by saying I was only having fun laughing at LRR. The nurse say...

OpenMW - Morrowind Remade
For anyone who is interested in replaying Morrowind, there is a total remake of the engine at https://openmw.org/en/ and it's working real smooth. The project is continually updated and it works with most mods.

Thank you for the advice Danielle Pepin. I should talk about my problems, it's just hard not to judge myself right now and that makes it difficult opening up. RytelCSF, I feel for you. Though alcohol isn't my drug of choice I feel we're in similar situation of having problems dealing with reality. I...

A thousand times Try to fake it Just another liar It's the wall that we are building All the things that we made wrong Don't hate yourself if you walk away You reach, but nothing's there Time and time again Colors fade from black to grey How come we walk a mile Just to shatter what we love? Eyes wid...

Thanks MrL
I feel I could go on and on about everything that's messed up right now but I'm just at the point where I feel talking about it won't help solve anything. I'm thinking that's a bad place to be.

Re: The depressing depression thread
My therapist said to call him if it got worse, so I called today. He gave some simple practical advice on what to do, like just go outside and breathe for a minute, have someone come over, that sort of thing. But when he hung up I felt it just made me angry. I'm so tired of just taking these advices...

Thanks for your replies all of you, it's given me a lot to think about. I've gotten discouraged in my social interactions lately. Yesterday I signed up for the programming course I failed to complete two years ago and I've been doing my best to suppress a panic attack all day. Re: Current Musical Obsession!
Ever since I was a kid I've liked listening to emotional music. My mom hated it, she thought the "sad" songs made my depressed mood worse, but listening to music that confirms and expresses my emotions has always been essential even as my preference in genres changed over the years. I gues...
